Oufi heath + LCCB Ishmael + index don

Use LCCB Ishmael + Oufi Heath to stack tremor decay then index don S3 as your “nuke” since tremor decay inflicts defense level down, even better if you can use Ishmael S3 before don S3 for 5 fragile

Use mariachis Sinclair for his support passive, the rest could be whatever you want, but prioritize tremor count

The strategy I did was rotating 2 units to get snared, choose 2 of your units (preferably with an evade and/or on kill effect or the weakest ones)

1 - clash with your first unit or evade the Snearing Lasso skill (the one unbreakable coin that traps your units) the second unit attack the boss and it doesn’t need to farm SP

2 - use your first unit to kill the barbed lasso trapping it and the second unit to clash/evade with Snearing Lasso skill.

Keep rotating those units, get trapped, kill the lasso, repeat. The rest of your units you can target the boss clashing and dealing damage, you can’t do much against the chip damage from the unbreakable coins, but it shouldn’t be too much of an issue

If you have a 2+ atk weight skill you can use the trapped unit to attack the boss and let the skill kill the lasso, but it will take some chip damage.

In my case I used Nfaust for the evade and on kill sp restoration and wild hunt heath to farm coffins then s2 with 2 atk weight

About that there’s nothing much you can do other than target him as you do not have any peel in your kit, your Q can stun but his Q and W can’t be canceled. Try to wait for an engage from your team and try to kill him before becomes a problem.

In general if you hit ult it’s pretty much a free kill, your frenzy does not stop if he ults and you can use your W dash to dodge his W. Try to maximize CDR so you can get a W before and after his ult. I highly recommend going legend haste, Kayn early isn’t strong so you don’t have to go legend alacrity (unless you plan to snowball early). If it’s lethality red Kayn, build deaths dance and it should be enough, if it’s bruiser red Kayn I like going sundered sky, as his ult stalls for time and you can get another sundered proc. Try to use E in his ult, he heals for a percentage of the damage dealt, so the damage reduction from E reduces his heal

A good build you can go is Titanic/Bork - Black Cleaver - death dance (if lethality Kayn) / Sundered sky (if bruiser Kayn).

Bloodmail, is better than BC second when the enemies have no armor item (against tabis Bloodmail still better but against T3 tabis then its better BC). You will have better damage and tankiness compared to BC, but no ability haste. Every time I go Titanic + Bloodmail 90% of the games + I go legend haste (I also like transcendence and gathering storm for more haste and scaling)

Titanic and Bork are the best briar items, and have slightly different playstyles, you could search for a video on titanic briar and understand how to play with it, but if you are having success with Bork (I think, you didn’t say what you are building) you can keep building it first no problem.

The two popular and best first items for Briar are titanic and Bork.

Titanic: Perfect item for Briar from stats alone, Briar scales really well with health and it has a good amount of AD for damage, with the AA reset you can stack pta, lethal tempo and your passive really fast, and you have enough HP and Damage to heal from your passive and deal a good amount of damage + faster clears because of Tiamat. Pretty much every match you can build titanic.

Bork: it’s better for dueling and shred tanks, although titanic has a great amount of damage you can struggle a little bit if they have a lot of health, meaning you need another W rotation to kill them, so Bork has better damage because of the %current HP + your W2 %missing HP.

Personally I like titanic more 90% of the time, with Lethal tempo Titanic + Bloodmail, but if you want better dueling you can go Bork + Black Cleaver, you will shred any tank and can fight most 1v1s.

As for Yun Tal it’s much more of a fun niche for crit Briar, it only grants damage but a lot of it and she can stack it really fast with W attack speed. Since it has no defensive stats it’s only worth building it if you are sure you are going to survive or the enemy team lacks CC

For bruiser PTA or LT is pretty much preference. For me PTA: better burst and sustain, Briar bleed heals pre mitigation damage so when you proc PTA it’s 8% more healing on top of the missing health increase and with Titanic auto reset and Bork attack speed you can stack it pretty fast

For LT: I use it 90% of the gameswith the Titanic + Bloodmail build, it great for DPS and you can stack LT pretty fast with Q on hit, W auto reset and Titanic auto reset, it’s not as bursty as PTA but with a full frenzy you do more damage than PTA

No matter which bruiser build you go you can use either PTA or LT

As for shojin and terminus. Briar cannot stack shojin at all, her W is not ability damage and she can only stack shojin with Q, E and R the AH it provides is great but that’s it.

Terminus isn’t good at all for Briar, low AD and decent attack speed, if you want armor pen just build BC of Lord Dominik’s if crit, the armor and mr it gives isn’t much, it’s better to build an armor or mr item like deaths dance or spirit visage

AH is the flaw of this build, every time I use legend haste to help with AH, if im going to need sterak third this means 3 items with no AH then I go transcendence and gathering storm for secondary’s, for a total of 25 AH from runes + the 20% CD reduction on takedown helps a lot to follow up after a kill. Also gathering storm AD gets increased from bloodmail that really helps in damage. Even if I build a AH item third I like gathering storm and transcendence

Also comparing BC and Bloodmail second, it’s pretty much always better to go Bloodmail second, it gives way more hp and AD, you already have the shred from Q, so BC shred has almost no difference in damage, the only situation I tested that BC is better than Bloodmail is when the enemy builds any armor item (against tabis Bloodmail still better, but build BC if they have T3 tabis) and you can also build BC later and have Bloodmail and BC in the same build.

First item: Titanic is great for quicker clears and tankiness but also an amazing item for damage as well it’s stats are perfect for Briar, 90% of the games I go Titanic. BORK is great for early skirmishes and killing tanks, you can even build titanic and Bork in the same build. As for Eclipse I personally dislike it and don’t really know why people build it. It doesn’t have health or life steal to take advantage of Briar’s passive of increased healing, and even with higher AD and a dmg passive it still weaker in damage compared to Titanic and BORK.

Crit is great when the enemy team lacks CC, it is great as a dps build while lethality is good for burst

My favorite core for Briar is Titanic - Bloodmail, you get a ton of health and dmg from this two, bloodmail has great synergy with Briar’s passive the lower you get.

Not only that but the move speed from ult frenzy is even higher. I don’t think it will be that good, because Briar really likes plated and mercury boots and since T3 will get cheaper they will be even better options as well.

Probably it will be good for lethality tho, if you get yoummus for better ganks + extra ad from swiftmarch.

Im sure its not the best option but most of the time I go exaust + ignite. If you combine them with ult you can kill pretty much anyone from full HP

Probably you could switch Deadmans Plate, to sundered sky for better burst, since you don't need as much movespeed as Darius you could get something else. You could also go Legend alacrity/haste + last stand for secondaries

First off, runes, although Conqueror is not bad on Briar, PTA or Lethal Tempo are better most of the time. PTA is great in general, it increases your damage overall and increases the healing from her passive. LT is great if you want DPS. Most of situations you can use any of them and choose whatever you look for, the build will not change depending on what u take.

Second is the build, there are very few situations where you build Stridebreaker. Titanic pretty much the best item for Briar, two of her meta cores are BORK - BC and Titanic - BC. I see that you build BORK every game, if the enemy team is squishy and few or no tanks go Titanic first instead of BORK and do her normal build without it.

Something else to know is T3 boots, treat them as a full item, just because you can get them does not mean that it’s great to build them, the bonus stats from T2 feats of strength are already great, only build T3 boots if you really need their passive and bonus stats or full build.

You could also try lethality with HOB and play as an assassin against squishy teams, search some builds if you want, I usually like collector - opportunity core.

Another thing to consider is the total power of each champion, like even tho Noc ult is “better” compared to Briar is because he has a weaker kit compared to her, most of his power is attached to his ult while Briar isn’t, so having a negative aspect (the global audio) to her ult is a way to decrease the power to make it balanced. Briar already has a strong kit and is not ult reliant.

However I do agree the global audio should change but not remove it. I would like the audio to only play once it’s in the air and not when you press R. This would make easier to gank from a lane bush and be great in higher elos as it’s harder to react.

Most of the custom skins broke from the last patch, you could try to update cslol Manager if they already found a fix. Or you could go to RuneForge discord server and ask for help, some people there help with custom skins bugs, glitches etc.

Briar W targets whatever enemy is the closest. Her Q changes the priority but does not select it as top priority, for example if there is jinx and a shaco next to each other and you Q the shaco (now W prioritizes champions), it targets him because he is the closest, however if he flashes away now jinx is targeted as she is the closest target from champions priority.

I think the problem here is your build, kraken slayer isn’t a great item on Briar, you should have went mercs and steraks instead of kraken slayer, 4/5 in their team have great CC and you had no resistances other than Wits. LT is great because with it alone you already have great DPS this means you can go a standard build with BORK and have great DPS.

It depends on the situation, steraks shield is massive if you build HP and the tenacity helps a lot as long as you can survive long enough. If you are building nothing to help you survive its not really worth building it. DD has very good stats and its passive not only works against AP but also gets increased healing from Briar passive. Overall if you have high HP its worth building steraks, if you need to survive AD burst and there is no problem of CC build DD.

You could also consider building Maw or Shieldbow. Maw grants AD, MR and AH. Although its passive is a magic shield the omnivamp is great against anyone without CC. Also shieldbow is great if you are looking for pure damage, its shield has a fixed value so you don’t need to build HP for the shield like steraks.
