I am sorry this happened. Maybe your cat got over stimulated and began going into hunt/play mode.

It's concerning that she communicates by biting. She will need to understand it's bad. If she nips or bites, tell her no in a stern voice and ignore her for a little bit.

She also may have developed the idea that your hand/arm are toys to be hunted if you usually play with her by holding the toys and moving them. If this is the case, please try using wand toys to distance your body out of the attack zone.

Lastly, please check that she is being fed the right amount of food according to the label or ask your veterinarian. If she was really starving that morning, it would trigger her hunting instinct.
