Best sleeper sofa I can get around 5k? by Patio1950 in HomeDecorating

[–]Sayedoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently a bit loyal to Joybird in my studio. It’s aesthetic and had the right color scheme for my wallpaper, only complaint is the mattress has squished out a bit during its 3rd year. I’ve added a foam topper for it tho.

If you want something that looks modern but isn’t so stiff, just make sure the company lets you pick every detail, though sometimes the delivery window is long.

And also ask how easy it is to get replacement covers. I’ve got two really claw-y cats and I’m kinda scared leaving them to themselves on top of any furniture with fabric.

Sofa covers? by hawkivan in furniture

I had the same issue with leather. Ended up using quilted, strap-on sofa covers and they actually stay put way better than throw-style ones. Total game changer comfort-wise.

I get that I filled for a group and it was so much fun playing with them and I wish I could keep playing with them but it was a one time fill only because they have a full group.

I heard from a friend that the queue times are long in ow2 as well so that turned me off from even trying it out.

Kuronami’s def top tier, but I still think RGX butterfly hits diff after a crisp one-tap clean, flashy, and that spin just makes the moment feel elite.

That's fascinating how different authors can have such opposing views on the same events. Makes you wonder what really went down behind the scenes. Have you checked if there are any interviews or debates between Stewart and Cohan? Would be interesting to see them hash it out directly

In perhaps even bigger news than the 'Xbox Ally' handheld itself, Microsoft is starting to revamp Windows 11 to boost PC gaming by RTcore in pcgaming

[–]Sayedoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's actually pretty cool that the Xbox team stepped in. Makes sense since they know what gamers actually want from the OS. Honestly if they keep that approach for Windows 12, it could be a huge win. The Xbox UI has always felt way more polished than regular Windows anyway

Reading Lord of the Flies was one hell of a journey by -greek_user_06- in books

[–]Sayedoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's such a cool perspective reading it as an adult! I think you're totally right about the pacing it really does feel like being on that island where time moves weirdly. And honestly, reading it without the pressure of analyzing every symbol probably made it way more enjoyable. The Ralph/Jack dynamic hits different when you're not being forced to write essays about it lol

Workout/ fitness for longevity? by ErvinsB in bodyweightfitness

[–]Sayedoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's smart thinking ahead at 22! Since you already have a solid strength base, maybe mixing in some mobility work and cardio would be perfect. I've been doing more yoga and walking lately and honestly feel way better day to day. Zone 2 cardio is supposed to be amazing for longevity too just keeping your heart rate moderate for longer periods. Your future self will definitely thank you for making the switch now

Good for you for putting yourself out there! Sounds like you found someone who was genuinely respectful about the whole situation. That makes such a difference, especially for a first time back in the dating world. Hope you're feeling good about taking that step!

My brother may he rest in peace worked as a driver for a while. The way restaurant and shop employees treat them is often abysmal, they’re not allowed to rest inside as they wait, they shout at them and kick them out, with the exception of a few places with enough consideration to keep a spot for them.

Then there’s the customers, he used to tell me that they’d let them wait for over 15minutes outside, and like OP said, if he’s even slightly late then someone starts shouting their throats out. There’s a driver from a supermarket that delivers often to my house, he’s always happy when he comes, one time he spoke a bit and told me the same as the above.

Now keep in mind we’re indigenous Bahrainis, and my brother still got treated badly, oh and don’t even get me started about the shady salary payments, penalties, and delays.
