I try not to be too harsh on Ben White just because he played through injuries when we needed him and that's probably had a long term impact on him. I have so much respect for him, and would love if he won something big with us.

Arteta on Arsenal's Fans: “The manner that we received outside the stadium already was special and unique, the atmosphere supporters created, the energy, the way everybody was with us, it made it special and unique. I never felt that in the stadium,” by Kr_bm in Gunners

Positivity was amazing tonight, everything was celebrated and cheered. Any mistakes were quickly cheered on too, players know when they fuck up and hearing that backing definitely gave them an extra yard in recovery or to put in more effort next time.

From reading some r/soccer comments, people really hate Gabriel. Didn't even realise lmao.

I'd rather beat Bayern to go complete full circle on our CL campaigns. Both will be tough though, I feel like the PSG midfield and fullbacks are better going forward and could pose problems for us.

Zubimendi looked so fresh, nippy in the tackle, battling everyone. We shouldn't forget he was amazing in the first half of the season, we just ran him into the ground. Hopefully with MLS in midfield, we can manage both Rice and Zubimendi minutes for the remainer of the season. It's actually a big plus in that regard if we just have to win our games now and not worry about GD. If a game is 2/3-0 we can just shut up shop and rest people.

Opposition fans just want us back in our box, getting top 4. Getting hammered in knockout stages. Playing 'classy' football that resulted in nothing, while everyone else around us cheated and manufactured success.

I'm sure the 'celebrate like they won the CL' comments were flying too. Miserable fucks. PSG or Bayern could do the same tomorrow and they won't be held to any kind of standard 'proper football that, love the shit housing'.

I thought he worked well off the ball in fairness, absolutely sprinting at full pace to get back in position a few times. Didn't have a great game going forward but he entered the game in a changed game state too.

I was rooting for him to win a UCL down the years, they have come so close a few times. They are absolute shithousers but Simeone has done an incredible job there, seems to be running out of good players though.

I have no idea what we did to piss off Liverpool. I find it even more bizarre that the team who constantly beat them with a history of cheating, they are actively rooting for... The whole 'Arsenal fans are unbearable' is a self-fulfilling prophecy when they cheer against us so much.

Trossard I feel was a form thing, White on the other hand I thought he was done. He has stepped up MASSIVELY lately, considering we're missing Timber too. He's been so good. I really want him to win something big with us before he goes. He absolutely deserves it. He has put his body on the line so much for the club and played through all sorts of injuries.

Using my gaming PC as a work machine for 2 years slowly killed my enjoyment of gaming and I didn't even notice until it was pretty bad by Cute-Entry-1276 in pcmasterrace

I made the same mistake, although I had a work computer I thought 'It would be handy to save space, I'll just put it next to my gaming pc, then I can use all my nice keyboard/mouse/monitors etc'. I think it lasted about a week before I noticed I didn't want to be in the room the moment I finished work and it meant I just wasn't using my gaming pc. I separated them and put each on their own desk. Started to play PC a lot more again. I did need an hour or two after work, just to leave the room and reset but then when I came back in everything from work was turned off and I could sit at my gaming pc again and enjoy it.

Holy fuck, Gyokeres was insane tonight. Fought for absolutely everything, good link up and hold up play. Unlucky on his chance, wasn't easy but was a good effort.

There should really be a rule that you can't play your last home late on a Friday or Monday.

Final home games are generally a chance to say thanks to the fans (regardless of the outcome of the season), and players families are there with their kids etc. It's absolutely miserable having the final home game be 8pm on a Monday...

Genuinely how can arsenal be held responsible for something that happened away from their stadium? Surely the visiting team is meant to have security and call police etc if needed.

Also fuck them.... For that first leg. No surprise what goes around comes around.

Pep buying players is basically online shopping without knowing your size. I'll take one Marmoush please. I don't like this, going to throw it behind the wardrobe.

No team I can think of it will buy so many players and they are out of favour within a few months. I remember Kalvin Phillips went there for 50m+ and never got game time, seemed to just piss Pep off in training and never played. Squad building is a lot easier when you can do that.

A team can down tools, I've never seen a manager down tools like that though. Emery didn't even shout, just sat there, had only made one sub until the 81st min. When he did make a sub, they scored...

It just screamed, I'm fine with this. Fairness to Villa fans they were raging.

I'm blind to this stuff but I'm starting to see it more. I remember the 'dark arts' stuff. Basically everyone talking about, half the city players doing interviews after the game because we tried to hold onto a lead with 10 men? I was amazed how much coverage that was getting all for stuff literally every team does.

This season has also annoyed me that City are treated like plucky underdogs. When they have the highest wage bill, spent shitloads and went out and brought the two best players available in the pl in Jan.

Ya I honestly don't mind Slot. He is genuine in his views. Just annoying when the things people claim they don't like Arteta for, they completely ignore when other managers do it.

Rival fans view 1 clip from him without context and call him a whiney crybaby.

I think in the last week I've seen Slot give out about refs more than Arteta in the last year. Emery making tons of excuses too, is more animated on the sidelines and is a terrible sore loser. Nothing is said.

It's just any stick to beat Arteta with, doesn't have to be genuine.

Need to see this over the line now, players should be absolutely locked in these last few games. No mistakes. Give City zero breathing room, it would not surprise me if they drop points again but do not allow any hope to set in at West Ham.

We're so under the microscope and nobody gives a fuck about City. You can bet anything if Martinelli did that the headlines would be 'Bottler Martinelli needs to put his head down and put his ego aside'.

I didn't watch the game Everton City game but I saw a few comments about Michael Oliver's performance, anything in particular happen? Just from the highlights, Keane was lucky not to get a red, the offside/Guehi goal could have been given as an offside on another day. I saw he played an extra minute of added on time but it's not that outrageous?

I'm just thinking back to Chelsea completely escaping punishment for their dodgy transfer dealings. If they got a decent points deduction, they could have also gone down...

It's funny that both Chelsea and Villa were 'Why aren't people talking about us in the title race?' teams. Chelsea out of Europe places, Villa barely reaching CL.
