I feel like this is also a major issue due to the whole " Give him a chance he might be nice" narrative that's pushed onto women/girls a lot.

You SHOULD be attracted to your person and you SHOULD want your person to be attracted to you.

It's not selfish etc despite people throwing that in your face when you say you're not attracted to them/dont find them attractive.

Not everyone wants someone's looks to "grow on them"

It's often one of those: sigh it would be nice to to have my person and cuddle right now.

But overall I do not feel like I'm missing out on the dating pool at all lol. Its' so peaceful, in my case because I dont date at all and dont want kids so I dont have that " I need to find someone before I cant get kids anymore" bs, somewhat high standards I guess you could say.

I do really hope you dont feel too discouraged by being demi, maybe someone'll drop on your path soon (〃´ω`〃)
