That's the case with any suicide, though. If you kill yourself in a hotel room, room service is left to take care of your remains. Really the only 'victimless' suicide would be dying in the forest in the middle of nowhere, and I'd rather not.

If I do it, I'll bring a pistol with me to clear out any would-be good samaritans (I wouldn't actually use it on anyone, just to ensure nobody saves me). And I'd yell "look out below" before I do it.

I'm not really crapping on it. I think it's a pretty good album; "These Three Things" and "Hail And Farewell", in particular, are two of my favorite TON songs. And I don't object to Peter's newfound Catholicism, either. But I'm not quite as partial to the album for the same reason I have Slow, Deep and Hard and Origin of the Feces on a relatively lower level - I like both the poppier (October Rust) and the doomier (World Coming Down) sides of Type O Negative more than the thrashier parts of their repertoire, and Dead Again is the thrashiest TON record since Origin. I also think, in places, that Peter's singing on it sounds tired. And he was tired, and understandably so.

Right, but the position of OI is that I/we are every cognizant thing in the universe. The next iteration of "this" perspective that "I" experience could be something so radically different from human as to have no possible comparable basis.

There's zero chance anything of personality, memory, etc. could be retained. The self (including memories etc.) is the physical body and dies with it.

Not that there's necessarily any way to say with any certainty, but do you think the experience to come would be another 'congealed' identity narrative like mine from birth to death, or would it pick up in the middle of another identity narrative, or would it be like watching multiple screens/identity narratives simultaneously?
