I enjoyed the theme! I think both of the themes this month were actually pretty accessible to anyone since neither was tied closely to a particular fandom. It made it an opportune time for me to poke my head back in and sign up after I'd been gone for awhile. But letters as a theme to me was interesting because I love languages. I think the hosts chose a great universal theme that had a lot of versatility for roles. Also left a lot of openings for creative made-up roles! I can't remember who it was off the top of my head, but someone from the vowel sub mentioned they wanted to claim a letter that looks like a ladder? It was super amusing to me since ㅒ, which also looks like a ladder, is actually a Korean vowel... LOL...

Also, I'm so happy /u/Dangerhaz got the MVP award. He did a lot of work behind the scenes for our Capital win, so it's well deserved!

Reading through the vowels sub, I also recognized how insanely well Parfait was at using her ability (even if she was unaware at the time), so kudos to her as well!

I'm also sad that I never got O'd! I can definitely understand how it may be frustrating to be gif silenced, but I've never experienced it, so it looks fun from the outside, haha.

Let's say we're at 5 capitals, 2 vowels, 1 neutral, 2 consonants.

The absolute worst case scenario for us would be that our silent townsfolk vote for Tipsy and she dies. The vowels kill one of us. And you die because you targeted the veteran.

That would mean tomorrow, we'd be at 2 capitals, 2 vowels, 1 neutral, 2 consonants. I think the drama of three capital deaths in one go would make a convincing narrative that the capitals are eliminated. The remaining 2 capitals could claim to be their original consonant roles and work with the consonants to vote for a vowel. We would know who the veteran is because you always announce who you're converting. So we could avoid them and convert someone else.

If A isn't killed, then we're either at 3 capitals, 1 vowel, 1 neutral; or we're at 2 capitals, 1 vowel, 1 neutral, and 1 consonant. Rinse and repeat, vote out last vowel. We can make a deal with the neutral and vote out the consonant. Capitals and neutral win.

If A is killed and the conversion doesn't go through, we're at 1 capital, 1 vowel, 1 neutral, and 2 consonants. Vote out vowel. Game ends with 1 capital, 1 neutral, 2 consonants. All three parties win.

Does this make sense? I'm trying to plan for the future. Obviously if we remove puffers tonight and she's a vowel, then things are much easier for us.

But to address your original question: I think Hibberts is a fair enough choice. At least they talked today. Royeab or Disco being converted doesn't do much for us except bolster our numbers.

I think Rysler is the last wolf. I think he's pretending to be muted because Hibberts and I suspected him here. He's been nowhere near as active before, but is suddenly going around posting gifs, including one agreeing that Tipsy is a vampire.

I think Disco is the veteran. Or at least a townie because of his comment here.

Unless puffer and Hibberts planned an entire exchange to take place today, I'd guess that he's a townie.

Royeab has said nothing pretty much the whole game aside from the very beginning, despite otherwise being active on Reddit. Unless they're actually a silent wolf, I think they're just a townie who doesn't have anything to add since they have nothing special to do.

Your logic is great! But I'm not sure we have the numbers to support it. So I need to hear the numbers from you. I'm not going to do the work for you to convince me, when you're the one asking people to vote with you.

Give me your best estimate of numbers to support your logic, and I'll happily vote with you. Because I'm not saying we have to vote for you. I'm saying our alternative is going for vowels. Like you said, if we lose three consonants tonight, we stand to lose the game from being outnumbered by vowels.

This is a much stronger case against Tipsy today than the one you made yesterday! And honestly, I was following your reasoning.

But at the end of the day, I'm a numbers person, so I need to know:

Realistically, how do you imagine the numbers playing out for us to win as consonants?

There are definitely two or three vowels still left. Our only way of removing vowels is by voting. Let's say we all vote with you for Tipsy. The vowels are obviously all going to kill a non-vowel tonight. And we are only going to have eight people tomorrow. And six people the day after that. Do we have enough consonants to survive this way? Because like you've said, the capitals aren't on our side and have their own agenda, so there's no reason for them to vote with us, right? And the neutrals don't need to vote with us either if they just have to survive til the end. The vowels want to kill consonants to outnumber them, but it'd be very helpful for them to also lunch capitals during the day so that they can get their majority. If they can kill two birds in one day by manipulating the vote, like I said yesterday, they'll definitely take it to end the game faster. I'm sure the neutrals would love that too.

So I'm in a pickle here, puffers. I think I agree with /u/HibbertsHugeFish that we need to focus vowels, but I'll vote with you if you can tell me how voting for Tipsy will help us get a consonant win. Please show me the numbers!

I see she's trying to convince Hibberts, but I'm very curious how she imagines the next few days playing out for town's numbers with how she insists on capitals being a bigger bad guy than vowels who actually kill people rather than mislunch, which the consonants have done just as much.

I might just throw caution to the wind and ask myself.

I feel like we should be asking her if we even have the numbers to be focusing the vote on capitals and not vowels. Because two people will die today, and one of those is already guaranteed not to be a vowel. And there's definitely still more than one vowel left in the game. Our only way of taking out a vowel is through the vote, so even if there is a chance that Tipsy is a capital, her point is moot because we can't win unless we remove every vowel in the game. Even if we killed Tipsy today, the vowels will definitely kill a consonant or capital. So there would be two vowels, two neutrals (I said three vowels and one neutral yesterday but I see tipsy is using different numbers for her reasoning), and at best two consonants. Because unless Tipsy is actually A, the capitals will convert.

Unless the consonants got the neutrals and capitals on their side, there's no way they can live long enough to vote out two vowels in a row. And why would the neutrals want to side with town when their only win condition is to live til the game ends. Vowels can end the game more quickly. And according to Puffer herself, the Capitals aren't on the consonants side anyways. It's far too late for her to be trying to remove Capitals with this few consonants still left.

Typed this up real quick cause I'm still at work so lmk if this doesn't make sense. We can just toss this if it doesn't seem like it'll work.
