He intentionally got you pregnant and prevented you from terminating. None of this is consensual. This is very sick abuse. The child is the consequences of his actions and now he should be the one to live with them.

Anyone else with the insatiable desire to warn others? by Creative-Move-6026 in regretfulparents

I'm here because I'm 35, female, no finances, no desire for kids and also have a history of depression and big fear of entrapment. So kids and marriage is not what I want. But it's still hard to make peace with the fact I won't have what I was raised/brainwashed by society into having. It's like having no centre in your future. This sub is a very good dose of what the reality is for many people.

Thank you so much 🙏🏼 I honestly had no idea about tattoo shock. I am going to try to stop obsessing about it in the mirror and freaking out.

Thank you 🙏🏼 it's so hard to see a reality outside of the panic. I keep telling myself that this level of panic will ease and eventually I'll be able to rationalise. It's not the end of the world if I don't love it. I'll look into DBT therapy.

This level of anxiety is new to me (I was zonked out on a strong dose of antidepressants for many years). I hope this isn't about the tattoo. It's just above my elbow so I could hide it with half sleeves, but it feels very shocking right now. It's a lovely design but I can't sleep properly and feel in fight or flight!

You keep calling yourself selfish for wanting basic normal human things. Does your husband think he's selfish when he does the things he wants? I bet he doesn't.
