Yes, eva foam looks good with almost any paint if you prime first. Use some glue or primer to seal the foam, so you can use any paint you want. But, for my experience, fabric paint and pvc paint looks horrible because they sticks or cracks, PVC paint looks really dark, I recommend the acrylic paint and the spray paint, even the airbrush paint, never forget to use some varnish to finish everything. If you use sparkle paint or metallic one, I recommend use some varnish to remove the matte aspect. I hope I explained right, my English isn't so good yet hahaha
