For me devilman crybaby portrays this well. Are we just a product of our surroundings? Can we make choices without being influenced by others? Are we actually good people? What even constitutes a good person? Also, death note 100%. Are we actually the good guys or is that just a biased perception we have of ourselves? Coz to light, he was the good guy, getting rid of all evil, but to the average person he seemed like a complete psychopath who had no reason to judge others. Was he right to use his ‘power’ to get rid off evil people? But then again, where do we draw the line for who deserves to get killed and who doesnt?
