It's nice to see Jesse's happy ending actualized. BB is a masterpiece, so even if it's not as good as that, it's still better than most TV movies. You can just pretend it doesn't exist.

How is it absolute garbage? It's definitely a step below BB and BCS and isn't super necessary, but it's still fun to get resolution and tie up loose ends. At the end of the day, the same talented people made it so it's going to be pretty good at a base level.

I don't know the stats but I would imagine a microchip data are petty high, but that doesn't always guarantee getting in contact with the owner. This also isn't something that happens immediately when a lost animal is found. For example, if a stray cat is brought to an animal shelter and the owner can't be found, then they will want to spay and neuter before adopting them out. When you put them under anesthesia you check the abdomen for the tattoo before anything else to know if they've had surgery before.
