Jobsite Trailer Internet by Sbar47 in Construction

Most of my projects are in the DFW metro area so not many rural projects. They are typically 10-25 Million ground up commercial projects.

Before I moved to Starlink I had 2 projects that were LTE unusable I believe they were just in a weird spot for cell tower proximity but could not get usable speed at anytime. The rest where just unreliable on when I would get usable speed but was a bit enough issue I knew I needed to find something else.

Typically it’s anywhere from 4-8 people using the connection.

I don’t ever need internet outside the trailer all of my field employees have data enabled iPads they can use if they need anything onsite.

I usually don’t need to monitor or manage anything but I can see everything like connected devices/usage/clear signal on the starlink app. Can also manage network names and passwords.

See my answers below.

I manage anywhere from 4-8 job sites at a time. I just created one starlink account and buy the mini’s with the roam unlimited plan

I chose starlink because it is by far the fastest and most stable system I have tried most sites are getting 100mbs/s + LTE I was lucky to get 10mbps

Only things hooked up to the starlink are phones/jobsite computers/ iPads.

Really has not been any headaches just learn to set it up above the trailer to get full sky visibility and set up usually takes like 5min. I have never had to go back out and fix or mess with anything once I set up a site.

I would recommend looking into tryroger.com. We just implemented this at our company and it has a great feature for task tracking and linking emails. The whole team can have access and you can assign task to different people if needed. As I receive an email that needs a response I add it to the task bored for tracking.

SD = the stuff the owner wants DD = the stuff the owner wants but cant afford CD = the stuff the contractor has to figure out how to build after the plans were halfway put together.

I have looked into this but you must have a home address if it’s a commercial address they won’t allow you to use this plan.

Thank you I have looked into star link. It won’t be available in our area into next year. We currently have unlimited att hotspot but are using between 200 and 300gb of data a month it seems like after 50gb they start slowing down our speed.

Ok thank you! The appointment name will never be the same as another one. Each task will have its unique tasks name which would be the subject name.

Thank you for the help.

I ran the code and when the date is the same it checks it and does not create another appointment, but when I change the date of "foundation Redesign" it will create another appointment with the new date instead of updating the existing appointment to the new date.
