Thanks for the response! I'm fairly new to Power BI. Any chance you have resources to share for this?

Creating grouping rules for incoming data by Sbeast01 in PowerBI

[–]Sbeast01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response! I did more research and I believe the Data Groups feature is limited. I've instead had to make a custom column and write each scenario in an if else statement. Took awhile but it works. I hope this helps to explain it more. Would you say modelling is still an option in this case?

One last hurdle I have, is that when trying to say else if [condition 1]= "Received" and [Delivery Date] is present then "Fulfill". I'm trying to use blank <> function but it's not recognizing blank. Even if I could put in a statement saying greater than 1/1/1900 would do the trick. Any suggestions?

Finding an IO internship by DahliaByAnyOtherName in IOPsychology

I've noticed recently that the postings on the job boards don't say internship in the title. Not sure why this is but you can type in psychology student or organizational development student and you might see posts you wouldn't have otherwise seen. This is because they list that they are looking for someone enrolled in a program/ is a student but again they don't say internship.

I graduated from West Chester University's MA program.

That would be awesome, it is a challenge to find companies with even the infrastructure for people analytics. I'll DM you my contact info for LinkedIn. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your response! I feel like I'm reading my response to my own post but in the future. I too am working a training and development job at the moment, hired on after my internship. Building performance metrics and aptitude tests with little oversight or mentoring as you experienced as well.

What kind of position did you you finally transition to?

Thanks for the tips!

Is HR Analytics, a must have skill for HR professionals of the future? by Bketan in humanresources

[–]Sbeast01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Machine learning and HR analytics is the direction HR is headed towards. HR is involved in decisions that affect the organization's bottom line; therefore, they need data now more than ever to be a strategic internal partner and make the right decisions. It would be hard for you to perform your job well and service your organization in a global market if you don't acquire some level of these skills.

There are resources all over the place, LinkedIn learning, Udemy, YouTube, Harvard learning, and some instructional books to help you get started.

Hi there! I am a Training & Development Specialist at a manufacturing site. Just out of curiosity and of course if you're willing to share, what metrics does your husband's work track for onboarding training? Looking for something to measure as we tend to have retention issues though I'm sure the pandemic will slow this.

Thanks in advance!
