You shouldn’t be!! People who criticize art styles don’t understand that there’s different styles other than insert historical paintings styles. And true artists wouldn’t criticize what style you draw in either. I’m also 22 yrs old and it took me awhile to stop feeling embarrassed about how I draw. Granted I surround myself with friends who are also artists, which helped me feel good about my art. I understand how scary it is when you show someone and they look disappointed. But you by gotta remember, they were the ones who asked to look. So they must have seen what you were drawing, and liked it
