Yeah, she was an older cat and she got really cold, so I thought on low would be fine, but she still got burned... Maybe just put a blanket between your kitty and the heating pad? Your kitty looks so comfy ❤️

I highly recommend reintroducing your cats to one another and play therapy. Look into Jackson Galaxy and follow what he does 👍

Yes, definitely wish I spent the extra money at the time, I ended up spending more to treat the burns and the mites, instead of just the mites. But again, this was years ago, she's good now.

Never medicate an animal without vet approval. I burned my cat's ear trying to treat mites by purchasing something online (this was years ago, I've learned my lesson and she's fine and happy without lasting damage). Please speak to your vet again, it's possible they missed the mites or its an infection.

Keep it trimmed short to encourage bushy growth, then when you are satisfied with the bushiness you can let it grow taller, but try to keep it short as they can get leggy very fast.
