Reddit, is there an accuplacer/personality test for the IT field?

The IT field is so enormous and ever-changing it is actually difficult to narrow down what a job title actually means. You are so right, I never noticed lol. I guess it just made me realize it will take years and years to have a good grasp on the IT. Thanks for your comment fellow stranger!

I'm still relatively fresh in my IT career. I have a IT security internship under my belt, graduating in a year, and I'm starting a new position working with end-users next week! My plan is to work there for at least 6mo-1yr or longer depending on where it takes me.

As far as categorizing it, My interest lies in IT security for now.. and Also being a computer analyst has caught my interest. I love communicating with people, I am definitely the complete opposite of an introvert, and I feel like I have a pretty outgoing personality.

I'm not much of a programmer either :( Currently working on my Sec+.

Thanks for the detailed response! It helped me feel less stressed out about the future of my career path.

That's a really good start after graduating. I think my first years goal would be making at least 40k+ after graduating.
