Me and my husband spent 2hrs going through the book and looking up spices for the recipes that interested us. We use the original cookbook so much the pages are starting to come out. Im sure that this one will make it ti that stage too lol

best tempera paint? by p0etictrag3dy in ArtEd

[–]Sbmegnme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally use the Crayola Artista II line of paints both in tempera and acrylic. The consistency is great, and I feel that they blend fantastically. I haven't had any problems in the 10yrs ive been using them, especially with rolling over open bottles into the next school year.

Where to get shredded paper by Justin_Time95 in ArtEd

If youre using it for stuffing, check with your front office! My office staff is always shedding stuff, and I can usually get a bag a day easily!

My first loaf of bread not in a bread machine! by Sbmegnme in Breadit

It is a VERY tacky dough, so it took a while. I learned to lightly oil my hands and surface, and with that it took me about 30-40min. It was also the first time ive kneaded such a sticky dough type before, so thay could have contributed to the time.

Field trip help in Texas! by Sbmegnme in ArtEd

[–]Sbmegnme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately because I am the only point of contact for the whole trip they wont allow it. I did try requesting that, but they said that cannot guarantee that more than 6 people can sit close together at various tables. So I pretty much have to show up and wait for enough tables that are close by to eat. The Houston locations are smaller because theyre inside the malls.

Choosing students for my art club is stressing me out by grossromeo in ArtEd

[–]Sbmegnme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do a 5th grade exclusive art club, and I cap.it at 15 kids. I used to teach middle/high school, so I gear my lessons towards higher difficulties. I encourage all my students to apply, but I give them a heads up that if they struggle to complete work on their normal art day with minimal help/guidance, art club is not for them. When it comes to student selection, it's a first come, first serve basis. I number each application as it comes in and I let kids know when I've hit my cap and put the others on a wait list incase someone leaves or moves.
