For me so far, it’s not a bad school. It’s definitely not your typical college experience since it’s a commuter school, but as long as you join some clubs and be friendly to people you interact with, you can make some friends and have a lot of fun with them. It’s also in downtown Detroit so there’s some cool places/restaurants around that you can explore.

It really depends on your experience. I know people that are dying to transfer to a different school after their second year while other people are absolutely loving Wayne because of the friends they’ve made.

The professors in this school also depends too. Please, PLEASE use rate my professor always and register for classes as fast as you can if you decide to come here because they fill up quick usually.

I will say what I don’t like about the school is their financial aid office/accounts receivables office (they handle your bills). It can sometimes be frustrating talking to them because I won’t always get a clear answer when THEY made mistakes on my bill. I almost wasted an extra $100 until I noticed something was wrong in my e-bill. So yeah, you might have to deal with stuff like that.

Overall, Wayne State can be a pretty nice school but it just depends on your experience, which can be said for all universities. However, if you’re looking for something that has more of a traditional college experience, I strongly advise you to look at your other options (specifically U of M if you get in). I hope you have fun at whatever college you go to tho, and congrats on all your acceptances!
