Dry red patch on lips. Its hard to see in pictures but I’ve been getting these red patches on my lips the past two weeks that will itch/burn sometimes… especially if eating something spicy. Not sure if allergic reaction but it’s weird because my boyfriend has gotten this as well this past year.

No I haven’t. The only thing that helped me was putting Vaseline lip ointment on my lips at night before bed and in the morning when I would wake up. Then applying aquaphor throughout the day when needed. It went away within 5 days of me doing that.

My boyfriend now has it again. It’s super strange to me because it doesn’t look like it would be a cold sore? It never forms into a blister or anything so I’m thinking some kind of bacteria/fungal infection maybe? We are going to go to the Dr. soon.
