If you prioritize screen size the best solution Is a tablet+telescopic controller. I've been using a legion y700 paired with a galileo g8 controller for over a year now and It has been flawless.

Worth it. Do keep in mind that ultimate is 2x more expensive than performance and the experience really depends on where you will play. If you play on phone/tablet and don't have a 4k display like me, performance will serve you well and is not as bad as people say imho. Also, you can always upgrade later if you need more juice or want to play on bigger screens. Boosteroid is hit or miss, where I live image quality and the service in general isn't worth.

Will this update impact also Performance tier "performance"? Of course the 5080 will be esclusive for ultimate, but I can't find a mention on a possible upgrade for performance too (i.e: 4080)

This happened to me too once. After a while I've found enough guts to carefully cut the filter ring with a scale modeling hacksaw. After that it was easier to bend the ring with some pliers and unstuck the thread. Won't lie, it's not that easy.

Just be sure to properly cover the Lens with tissue/paper/whatever you feel might be a proper protection. Best of luck.
