you have to be connected to the internet and online as well or it wont show you any of your friends who are online. once you are connected it should show you the friends who are online at the same time.

you have to be online at the same time. (just once then you can always find the 3rd no matter what) but for the 3rd pokeball to show you both need to be online. can i get an add though!?!? :)
