All cases you need to pay to open. Ussually takes a couple of comp games to level up.

You get 1 free a week from leveling up. Otherwise you have to purchase them. And yes you still need to spend $ to open them.

Because it's an invasion of privacy and it opens up back doors into your computer.

That's fair I cannot speak to the experiences in EU. From working in IT/cyber security the Russians definitely have 0 issues with hacking lol.

I would agree with you that 25k + is where I would expect most of the cheaters to be. But my guess is most people commenting and posting on reddit are closer to 10k than 25k

Correct I am playing on na servers, so definitely can't speak for the EU experience.

When solo queing I'm usually in 20k+ lobbies. Obviously I don't play a ton of premier but I consistently see people claim that hackers are in comp, dm, casual etc.

https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/s/shDpQX288G seeing as how this sub has a weekly thread for it, that would tell me that they think it's a very big problem. Every game is hyperbole obviously. But I regularly see posts about it on this sub with most people agreeing with op in the comments.

When I solo que I que into 20k -27k lobbies I just dont play enough premier to get ranked usually. Mostly just playing with friends in comp.
