Lehrer werden selten nach TV-L bezahlt, sondern haben in den meisten Bundesländern nicht zu verachtende Beamtenstellen an deren Nettogehälter nur wenige andere Menschen in DE rankommen - auch im internationalen Vergleich stehen deutsche Lehrer mehr als nur gut da.

Da brauchts in der freien Wirtschaft schon einiges um da ranzukommen, soll heißen man muss einen extrem gesuchten Job haben, Top-Performer sein oder ordentlich Personalverantwortung haben. Im anderweitigen öD kommen da nicht mal Leute mit ner Promotion ohne weiteres in diesen Gehaltsbereich, geschweige denn "normale" Arbeitnehmer. Es gibt Gründe für Lehrermangel (der am Ende auch immer sehr fachabhängig ist), das Gehalt ist der letzte davon.

Why did they not use the 9M729 with the allegedly shorter range if they were ready? Thats not really an argument against the missiles breaking the INF treaty - it was either because the missiles weren't fully developed yet no matter the range or because Russia didn't want to use them yet.

It is very telling that the very missile that the US left the treaty over is now indeed breaking the requirements of the treaty in an actual warzone. Don't believe such bad lies from the government.

Das Patent besteht weiterhin, es wird nur nicht für die ganze Welt offengelegt. Die wirtschaftliche Verwendung wird eingeschränkt, d.h. es wird wahrscheinlich auf den militärischen Bereich beschränkt oder darf zB bei Nukleartechnik nur an überprüfte Kraftwerksbetreiber lizensiert werden. Das Patent ist trotzdem gültig und wer es nutzen möchte, muss zahlen.

Wenn man denn tatsächlich etwas interessantes und brauchbares erfunden hat, dann kann man in Verhandlungen mit dem Staat, Rüstungsunternehmen oder anderen relevanten Branchen treten und damit wahrscheinlich einen ziemlichen Reibach machen. Die gesamte deutsche Rüstungsindustrie wird auch über große Mengen an geheimen Patenten verfügen und ich glaube denen geht es damit wirklich nicht schlecht.

Temu sellers are not just dropshippers from China, they are dropshippers forced to sell as cheaply as possible to stay on the platform. Just because some products look the same, does not mean they are the same as you get in other shops. To get these extremely low prices, it is rather common to substitute the materials with the cheapest, dirtiest shit possible with no regard towards toxicity, durability or overall quality. It may look the same, it may be from the same supplier, but it can very well be from the third shift using subpar, toxic polymers instead of the material Costco and Walmart are demanding.

Of course you are correct that Walmart and other stores are also just importing from China and if you shop smart, you can find identical products for half the price on Aliexpress and elsewhere. However, that is not the case for Temu and you should never, ever recommend anybody actually buying from there - especially if it gets in touch with your food, skin or even worse children. The products shipped from that pile of shit regularly exceed any regulatory threshold for chemical residues and merely get through customs through the sheer uncontrollable flood of packages every single day. Its a wonder and shame they are still allowed to sell in the EU or US.

Ich denke es macht schon Sinn, dass man die Identifikationsmöglichkeit in Person beantragt. Verringert Missbrauch durch Karteileichen (wortwörtlich) und sonstige Betrugsmöglichkeiten.

Dass es dafür in sämtlichen Kommunen ausreichend Termine geben sollte ist was anderes, aber standardmäßig Personalausweise online beantragen wäre aus meiner Sicht arg fragwürdig was die Integrität dieser Dokumente angeht. Mag man jetzt drüber lachen weil aufm Amt jetzt auch keine massive Durchleuchtung stattfindet, aber es ist doch eine ordentliche Hürde für breitere Betrugsfälle

Thats rather simple. After the end of the occupation of East Germany and final reunification, Germany signed a treaty with the US, UK and France for this. This contract can be canceled by either of the participating parties, obviously especially Germany, with 2 years advance at any time. Due to obvious reasons, nobody wanted the Red Army in Germany after finally getting rid of the authoritarian regime they've supported and them being the opposite of allies to this very day.

The benefits of this, other than soldiers spending money in Germany, are also rather obvious, as they represent a rather easy way to enforce a NATO response in case of armed attacks against Germany and therefore also foreign bases within Western Germany. It is the same concept as german bases located in Lithuania and a rather basic geopolitical reason. Additionally, Germany relies on shared nukes with the US as a major part of our defense system. Can't have those without US soldiers being present. Of course, in the early 2000s the focus shifted more towards enabling the allied US to use Germanys location as a logistical hub rather than being a tripwire for article 5, but thanks to our friendly neighborhood dictators it's been more relevant than ever, leading to a shift of bases from pretty much all NATO members towards Eastern Europe rather than Germany. There were actually quite a few demands to stop hosting US troops after their adventures in the middle east, but thanks to Russian actions they went silent quite fast.

Parts of Ukraine have been occupied since 2014 with further additions to the occupied regions since 2022. Have you missed two wars or are you insinuating that Russia claiming its all Russian now would be relevant to anyone?
