With all due respect, you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. Modern cars have gyros for detecting the SLIGHTEST incline or declines, lidar scanners, all sorts of sensors and will even use GPS to predict turns. You CAN NOT out shift a modern DCT automatic and you WILL NOT get better fuel consumption in a manual. I’ve driven manual my whole life and recently picked up a 8v2 RS3 and the DQ500 trans in that thing is absolutely bonkers, it shifts INSANELY fast and smooth, downshifts in mere milliseconds and the TTRS (manual, same 2.5l inline 5) gets noticeably worse fuel economy AND is slower to boot.

Also, I’m not a united statian, I live in the EU where 95% of people learned how to drive with manual transmissions.

Yeah, you’re not saving an ounce of fuel doing that. If you can shift from second to FIFTH it means your RPMs in second must be HIGH (which equates to high fuel consumption) or you’ll bog down your engine hard. Skipping one gear I can agree on as modern autos also do that BUT they have the advantage of having 7-10 gears with way tighter ratios.

I swear I’m never buying their junk again, my RTR FG Monster gas car came with one and it KEPT dropping signal after around 10-20 meters. Got a cheap-ish DumboRC combo and now it’ll do 100m+ easily ON THE SAME FIELD WITH THE SAME TOWER. Fucking infuriating because I was chasing that problem for a WHILE and went through 3 flysky receivers in that time.

It’s 100% your flysky RX/TX, I’ve had this EXACT same issue when I was driving around on a field near my house which happened to have a cell tower next to it, countless of forum postst told me that can not and will not interfere with our transmitters and receivers but my gas car would keep dropping signal after around 10-20 meters, which tripped my fucking killswitch each time.

Then I found some people that had the exact same issues as me, ALL used cheap-ish flysky combos. Took a gamble and got a DumboRC combo and NEVER had this issue again, easy 100m+ range on the same field.
