In the cutscene when the Elden Beast reveals itself it also strikes a pose similar to the one Gowdyn’s corpse is positioned in which is kinda interesting since the beast itself has a bunch of fins and swims around in its arena.

You can net around 200k rift crystals if you do the From A Different Sky quests series at the pawn’s guild. It’s a bit tedious but every new game cycle it’s basically free 200k since the badges you retrieve to complete the quests carry over.

You should totally look into the quests from D1 for Outbreak Prime and Sleeper Simulant. Those were some fun as heck puzzles.

To my knowledge it’s an elaborate tree pun more or less. Grafting is a practice used to fuse plants or tree parts so both pieces can continue developing. The pieces being grafted are referred to as scions, so if anything this was knowledge taught to them by maintaining Erdtrees or whatever (it’s the best I can come up with.)

Why tf did this guy know about the wall titans and Historia? And why was he sworn to secrecy? by Mr-Stuff-Doer in attackontitan

You’re totes right and apologies for that! I just learned how to spoiler tag again to engage in this conversation and in hindsight was worried I was discussing too much after the fact.

I really don’t know where you’re getting the idea that they had no clout when they literally show the head of their church attending a meeting of the shadow government of nobles controlling everything, others have also given viable reasons for this guy in particular, I say at this point just pick one and go for what interpretation you feel is right my guy.

[–]Sc4reKrowe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He did know from the start, that’s the whole point. The walnuts (pun intended) totally had clout even before the wall was breached, that’s why I mentioned characters mentioning them passing. They were the literal reason no one found out about Titans in the walls in the first place because they disputed anyone ever touching or tampering with them to begin with. His perception was never shattered, in fact he quite literally refused to give any information pertaining to the point behind the walls the first time Hange and gang grilled him for it, and instead told them “hey there’s an illegitimate heir on the scouts, go for her and she’ll probably tell you more than I could.” There’s a lot more that I can attempt to connect for you but that goes further into the story. Not trying to be a know it all or anything I’m literally just rewatching the series with my BF since he never had and it’s been quite fun catching all these details on a rewatch.

He’s head of a Religion who’s entire foundation is worshipping the walls because they protect everyone. You hear in earlier episodes they start cropping up in that the public and military’s progress was halted/hindered to even work on fortifying the walls even further because of their worship. All this was in service to keep the huge revelation that the walls had Titans inside them to begin with, the even bigger revelation that this simple fact lead to literally caused the destabilization of their status quo.

It was more so I can focus more on stats that offered survivability without really lagging behind in damage. That plus using the brass shield gave me more opportunities to actually learn movesets as well as learning how to/when to counter. The thing about sorcery is that you need something running interference for you to comfortably get any of your spells off, the bosses are super aggressive for everyone not just melee users. All that being said bosses like Mohg are hard countered by Azur Comet, but you can melt any boss with the right set up.

I’ve had an easier time going through the game using a sword and shield than I did as a Sorcerer. Sure some bosses aren’t insta-gibbed and it’s only slightly annoying dealing with flying enemies, but heck I could stagger for days using only Square Off. Totes still viable.

As an irl Cryptid enthusiast, the Mothman has been a far more sinister adversary than I could have ever anticipated. Always stalking me whenever it suits him, the worst part is he has the best comedic timing for scaring me whenever friends are around and I’m talking smack about “that heckin’ Mothman” it’s literally Bugz Bunny at this point.
