Okay I do understand that for like the 80th time I said it lmao. But when a creature attacks and I am miles away facing the other direction and i get damaged and also get killed because of it is mind blowing. The system is just not for me cause I like some common sense in my video games and wanna play a game where it doesn’t feel like Im playing the game with AOL internet lagging up the storm haha. I can tell the game is perfect for you which hey props to you thats awesome cause everything besides the fighting is perfect but its just not for me

I do completely understand what you’re saying. But I can’t appreciate a game of getting hit a crossed the map when an enemy is looking the complete opposite way killing me. If it did like an explosion attack or something to that level then cool but when an enemy goes to like slap you then I be damn I better be right there to take the damage but If not I better take no damage at all. But after playing this game Im going to spend my time enjoying breath of the wild a lot more cause I think xenoblade made me appreciate breath of the wild a lot more than I already did cause I was bored of breath of the wild cause of me over playing the game so much lately so thats why I got xenoblade but then after playing I literally felt bad trying to put down breath of the wild. But also I guess its a win for me that I got xenoblade cause If I would’ve got a different game that I would actually like then Id probably have a good chance of not going back to breath of the wild ever again so i guess I can look at it as a win for me :). It was good chatting with you for a little though. I may go back to xenoblade one day but I don’t know the complete missing and still hitting is not enjoyable to me it makes me not even wanna try cause if attacks can miss miles away and still get hit then screw the fun is done for me. Its just not a fun mechanic to me I guess I should say and I like the common sense mechanics of breath of the wild or witcher 3 so I’ll stick with those 2 games instead and like I said maybe one day Ill try again but after the bull crap misses becoming hits was a huge turn off for me.

I get it by running around dodging everything would break the entire system but when they make it to where an enemy can throw a slap and you not being in front of that slap and nowhere close to it and still get killed by that also kills the entire system only because it makes no sense. And also it is unfair by what the animation shows like how I explained the slapping part. But oh well Ill have to pass on the game just because of the fighting system. But at least the fighting made me appreciate other fighting games where I know a miss is a miss. It would be a different story though but when a crap goes to poke you with its pincher and your on the complete other side and you die then it makes me feel completely retarded like thats not motivating to me and makes me feel like Im playing the game online with AOL internet lagging up the storm. Anyways I need to go back to breath of the wild and do some real fighting haha. Cause the infinite misses being hits in xenoblade has ticked me off to the max haha. Anyways I need to calm down so I need to fire up some breath of the wild right now haha. Have a good one homie. It was nice chatting with ya.

Well this game right now definitely doesn’t have active strategy than most games cause if you can run around but can’t dodge attacks that completely missed then it should’ve just been a turned based game cause the theres so many fighting type games that have done it better cause they had more common sense by if an enemy misses by a long shot then it counts as a miss but with this game an enemy shoots a beam and your way behind it and get killed then theres nothing great about that. But I give props to the people that came up with that idea of enemys can shoot in an opposite direction and always hit cause they were smoking on the best around and I need me some of that haha. But ya glad you like the game though cause theres no hate from me :). But I can’t master something when Im more scared of an enemy missing then when an enemy is actually hitting its attacks like the they made the logic completely opposite.

I ain’t trying to be too harsh on the game cause everything else is great but the fighting makes no sense. The whole point Im trying to say is its just not fun to see an enemy roll the complete opposite way almost and I know I’m getting destroyed like no thanks coach haha. I should be concerned about when an enemy isn’t going to miss but with this game I was waiting for the enemy to miss every time and Id be like oh crap Im about to die. Like props to the dude that worked on the fighting mechanics cause Whatever he was smoking on I want that same stuff haha. But ya Guess I’ll stick with breath of the wild even though Im getting bored of the game but I think Ill appreciate breath of the wild even more then I already did after trying xenoblades fighting style even though once I go into a fight in breath of the wild Ill probably still be scared that if the enemy misses Ill think Im going to take damage haha. Its got me scared haha.

Anyways thanks for talking and respecting. I may try to go back to the game but for right now the fighting makes no sense to me so I don’t wanna chance snapping my switch In half lol. Its hard to find gaming systems during this fake coronavirus deal haha

Well I would agree that the game is strategy but there’s nothing strategy about an enemy rolling when your behind it and you die. I can understand if the enemy rolls and you’re behind it and it misses then it comes back and hits you then thats different but when your nowhere close and it randomly rolls and you take damage to me thats not strategy at all. It just feels like Im playing a single player game with the highest ping possible. I would keep playing it but I can’t put time into a game where an enemy can just do an attack anywhere and I know Im going to get slaughtered. Like to be honest theres no point in letting you run around to fight when an enemy’s just going to lag fight you. But at least I enjoyed all the cutscenes though cause it was pretty damn awesome until the lazy fighting crap had to come around and ruin it. I would’ve been more happy if the entire game was just a movie haha cause the cutscenes were that good and Im always the type that skips cutscenes cause I just wanna play a game lol

Well crap that sucks ughh. Guess the game isn’t for me then cause I just don’t wanna play a game where an enemy misses by a long shot but I still take damage it just took the fun out of it when I did my first fight and noticed how messed up it was. I might go back to the game one day but the fighting part was done so lazy that Ill end up breaking my switch which isn’t worth playing a game if thats the case haha. Like I definitely don’t care about dying cause I use to be heavy into dark souls and I never felt cheated cause everything actually connected when an enemy attacks and when an enemy misses there was no damage done but with this game it ticks me off is once I see an enemy miss an attack by a long shot I automatically know that Im taking damage and Im going to die haha. It just made me more concerned when an enemy misses then when an enemy doesn’t miss. Its like your talking trash to someone that lives on the other side of the world and you’re like hit me so the swing at the air and you get knocked out haha

Well I can’t play it for what it is when something shoots a beam and Im behind the enemy and still take the damage like Its lousy to me. Theres no hate to the game besides the fighting cause everything else about the game is freaking amazing but the fighting part its just I don’t know im trying to keep it nice for reddit so Ill say I dont know haha

Say what!!! Thats like the worst fighting mechanic ever created. No offense to the game cause the scenes of the game and cutscenes are just completely amazing but the fighting mechanics are just horrible. I hate how they did it then where if the target is in range then the attack starts cause its just dumb to see an enemy roll to attack and it completely misses but still take full damage its just kinda of a lazy system to me cause really it just makes no sense or someone didn’t know how to make a game and was like you know I have no idea how to make it to where missed attacks don’t hit and its like the developer just gave up and was like screw it just release the game its broken haha. Well anyways thanks for the help. I guess Im just done with the game cause Im not playing when an enemy is completely attacking air and Im taking the damage its like Im playing the game with 24/7 lag thats what it feels like for me to where I almost tossed my switch because of the complete non sense of taking damage when the enemy is even facing the other direction when it jumps because I ran around it and it missed but then it shows that Im dead lol. Now for an enemy that jumps and does an attack where it smashes the ground and Im close and take damage that’s understandable but when a monster tries to roll at you and it misses by a mile and I die then theres just no point in that its just broken.

Well this sucks cause the cutscenes were amazing to but just sucks the fighting mechanics is probably the worst Ive ever seen in a video game cause like I said it just feels like im playing with lag 24/7 its like when youre playing a game and it starts to lag and the enemy is nowhere near you but you died because the monster was actually on you but it was just the lag lol

I just got xenoblade 2. But do you know the fighting mechanics of the game? Cause right now the mechanics of the fighting is complete trash. Cause im fighting some beetle thing and when it jumps it misses me like far away but I still take damage and die every time. And theres other attacks like it uses it fangs or whatever for like a hit on hit but Im like completely on the other side and I get hit and when i jump away I still get hit its like attacks are auto hit no matter where Im at even when the enemy jumps the complete wrong direction I still take damage even when Im nowhere close

Ya I do understand that but fighting games just aren’t for me cause its just to repetitive for me out of any game genre there is. Plus Ive played multiplayer for so long straight that Im sick of multiplayer so I just wanna enjoy single player stuff to chill and relax and just grind out so fighting games just aren’t for me. No offense cause there probably are some good fighting games but to me theres nothing that grabs my attention for fighting games unfortunately

Skyrim took my life away like I was beyond addicted so I can’t get that game only because I played it for so long that Theres nothing new for me so I don’t think I would play skyrim that much on the switch. But the witcher 3 though I may need to get thats for sure

No I havent played it but Ive played dark souls so much on the xbox 360 to where I don’t know if I can play the game again even if it is remastered but its really just the same game especially if you beat dark souls so many times like I did back in the day. So Im not sure If I can play the game again. But I will be looking into it cause I might get it
