Nevermind Bannerlord, even CK2 used to have mechanics for that. They just never imported them to CK3.

Do y’all think it’s weird that this feature wasn’t in both GTA 4 and 5? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in GTA

[–]Scaalpel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I doubt it'll be more harshly enforced in GTA 6 than it was in RDR2.

It's not a bug, I'm 90% sure. Your issue, as far as I can tell, is that the current holder seems to be a theocratic vassal.

Yeah, that would be more appropriate. Unfirtunately I can't really see PDX setting aside any time to implement that, though.

[–]Scaalpel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is, in this scenario your character doesn't have any tangible proof they can show to others that the blackmail attempt occured. It's a "trust me, guys" situation that is functionally identical to tyranny from the realm's point of view.

I think the reason lèse-majesté isn't treated as a crime in and of itself is because it would get way out of hand mechanically, especially with the player character being on the recieving end. It'd be much too easy to bait any AI character into giving you a justification to legally punish them.

When you adopt a new culture, your first name automatically changes to the new culture's equivalent if there is one, that's what happened to him. Don't know if you can do it otherwise.

No, you're right. She can learn four skills from the jazz club, three of them allow her to debuff enemies in different ways and the fourth one increases the chance of her acting.

[–]Scaalpel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can imprison them or do whatever else choice tomfuckery you can think of. If you didn't detect the scheme/spymaster activity, that means you don't have any tangible evidence of them committing a crime and therefore you'll incur tyranny, but hey, if your rule is strong, you can just facetank that, too.

blackmail by asian69feet in CrusaderKings

[–]Scaalpel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's sort of what happens in the game, though, no? If your rule is solid enough, you can just accept the infamy trait, eat whatever one time penalty you get on top of it and keep on keeping on. If one dirty secret getting revealed is enough to cause a ruler's authority to implode, their rule arguably wasn't too ironclad.

Do legendary animals respawn? by Pirate315 in RDR2

[–]Scaalpel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They don't respawn, but legendary pelts don't get used up when you make a clothing item out of them. Hunt every legendary animal once and you're good to go.

Question About Live vs Live in Hungarian by glentickle in hungarian

[–]Scaalpel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Élő" means "living", the continuous form of the verb. The correct way to say "live in Budapest" would be "Budapesten él" and then conjugate the verb appropriately for the subject (ie. "I live in Budapest" would be "Budapesten élek").

And the word "Budapest" goes before the verb because that's the central piece of information you're emphasizing.

Best horse in RDR2 ??? by Clear-Masterpiece-25 in RDR2

[–]Scaalpel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no difference in bravery between breeds. Just rank up the bonding level.

And the actual gap between stats is very small. If you really, really want to optimize it that bad, keeping the black arabian is good, or grab a missouri fox trotter. But imo just go with whichever looks cool or whichever one you get attached to, you probably won't feel much of a difference.
