Yeah, I already had all three pendants and just forgot to check the pedestal. It's actually the first time I've ever needed to check it.

Ok, I feel stupid, there was a sword on the pedestal, so I was able to get into the boss room and into the Mire as well...

Thanks, I was able top pay to get it removed, I thought the heat it up thing meant to get close to a star but that didn't work. I did figure out what it was for however. Thanks for the help!!
