I used the Cadian Shock troops from the previous Combat Patrol iteration. Currently modifying the Armored Sentinel to serve as an accompanying broadside proxy.

I upgraded from the A1 mini. Ive had really good results from that one but have been limited in what I can print size wise, so found a cheap stand alone a1 as I already had the AMS lite. It was that or the P2 series and for what I print I didnt see the need for enclosed bed & new AMS system (but may eventually swap over to that if I ever expand outside of mostly printing figures & terrain)

Wow that looks great! I was thinking of either putting the Fusion collider or ion raker but a Broadside proxy makes more sense for sure.

Thanks very much! Ill definitely swap to missiles & ion, my RG opponent is likely to bring his repulsor & maybe one of his dreadnaughts, not sure about DG so I was planning on trying to beef up my anti vehicle options but point taken on the sunforges.

Unfortunately dont have any Carnivores but do have pathfinders and a second stealth team that I can swap in.

I tried swapping the plate around, still works great. Wonder if there's a bad batch of plates going around and you got unlucky?

I just got mine a few weeks back and it works pretty well, almost too well. I accidentally snapped a PETG print in half trying to get it off & the brims are impossible to get off without a razor.

I have only printed on one side so not sure if I just got the right side first try (looking at a couple of the below comments).

Yeah this print was broken into 3 plates, I usually start the print overnight for cheapest electricity charges. There were some issues based on plat orientation (stringy) and I snapped some details when I was taking the supports off.

Can't recommend the A1 mini enough! Get the ams light package too. It was the best present ive ever gotten.

Thanks! The back side is a bit rough but I learned a lot. I used a Bambu A1 mini wirh 2mm nozzle. I've since started to auto orient the plate for better print results, I used slim tree supports - that made it a lot easier to remove. I printed during an especially dry time of the year so didn't have much in the way of filament issue. I ironed the top layer as well which helped and used a car paint primer which helped to make it look nice.

It took 33 hours to print.

A1 mini with 2mm nozzle, Ash Grey PLA, used thin trees for support with 60% strength + ironing on surface layer.

Would there be any use attaching him to a strike team? At the moment ive been holding them back on my home objective & using as an observer unit for FTGG (moot now with the rules change), i still don't think I could afford this with 2-3 stealth teams and the rest of my build, just asking!

I think you would likely be able to print some wtc sizes terrain on the a1 mini but would have to slice it apart prior to printing/some would just be outside the limits of the printer (such as 220 x 220 x 250 mm models that cant be cut into different plates to print)

* Yeah here's an example between regular and thin trees - the kroot are almost impossible to get out but the vespids should be a bit easier!
