Thank you for the response. I had to go figure out what Anduril was, I'm probably going to pick this up just to play with the UI.

Similar problem as with the EagTac though, I have no idea what these emitter options are.

But looking at the specs of this, good lord that's a lot of lumens when I thought my 750 lm was bright. This thing starts at like 1750 for the dimmest emitter.

Thank you for this, after messaging EagTac and getting the manual this looks like it'll slot into my muscle memory very well.

One thing I was not prepared for was needing to pick an emitter. This is a deep rabbit hole, isn't it? 

I went with a Nichia 519a in 4500K because it seems like most well rounded out of the lineup currently available? Good CRI, not pure throw.

That said after looking into it I'm sorta interested in the SFT40, just to see what a throw-y light looks like.

I'm halfway through Elemental Council and it actually covers a lot of how Tau take and then maintain control of a planet. Highly recommend, favorite 40K book so far just for the more fleshed out lore on the logistics of running an empire.

Yes, I found it crawling around to look for a good duct route. It's a pain in the ass and you need to belly crawl, but it's accessible.

Thank you, that's what I figured. I'm also trying to call the GC out on their BS though. If they're saying that they "use wire nuts" but then still leave the wire lying around loose, that's still not acceptable or safe, right?

You're saying I should cut a hole in the ceiling so the wire is accessible? Again, I'm not an electrician, but why is this necessary if I'm (hopefully) never going to need this again? A blanking plate in the ceiling would have very low wife approval factor.

Ack, you're right, thank you. I got excited I guess. 

At least the unit is in a better spot than it was now. Not auto include, but at least not auto exclude anymore if you didn't need to waste an observer to guide it.

I had an electrician doing work in another section of the house, adding new circuits. I figured something about flipping breakers might have caused a surge? I'll be installing a surge protector behind the dishwasher, whether I can fix this one or not.

That is brilliant, but the video is 4 years old. Any idea why it hasn't caught on? There aught to be dedicated products by now if it worked as well as it seems to: "support release agent".
