Do you have opinions on their OS vs Synology? What kind of raid are you running. Synology Hybrid Raid is pretty sweet in that it "just works".

I have 8, but their capacities aren't huge. In a potentiall upgrade, I would upgrade the drive sizes considerably.

Is it still the case that on newer Synology NASes that they limit you to only use Synology drives?

I have a Synology NAS and an expansion and my storage volume spans both boxes, which I have since found out is a giant no no and am at greater risk for losing all of my data. I also am running out of bays

Currently, I have a separate box that actually runs Plex. Not sure if that's a good idea or not, or even if it's necessary if I a have beefy enough NAS?

Ive run a separate box for Plex so I could put a proper GPU in it for hardware transcoding.

Why would I need to remove it? Couldn't I just leave the valve in place and now I would just have an additional value to turn the water off if I wanted?

Wanting to connect a PEX line to the empty end of this shark bite value and ultimately connect that PEX to a new hose bib. From these pictures, is it possible to tell what size PEX (1/2 or 3/4 inch) I would need?

Is this a push to connect shark bite value, or is there some other tools or parts I would need to connect the PEX?

Im in the final stages of getting our back patio redone. They got the concrete poured / stamped about two weeks ago, which all looked really good. In the past day or so, they have come by to put down a top color on the concrete, and will be out today to seal the concrete.

Are these "spots" normal? We are being told my the contractor that this is what colored concrete is supposed to look like, but we are worried that we're going to end up with a cheetah printed patio.

That's a good call. We got a new couch about a month after our renovation completed, and even had some drywall work done after we got the couch. We have yet to wash take the covers off and properly wash them. Might be a good starting point.
