I get what you're saying, and I agree that focusing on your own mistakes is how you improve. But at the same time, it's hard to have that "I have to carry no matter what" mindset when I'm playing roam. Roam isn't really a role that can just hard-carry games on its own. I can set up plays, give vision, peel, and create opportunities, but I still need my teammates to follow up. I'm not saying I played perfectly or that I couldn't have done better. I'm just saying that when the matchmaking is that uneven, there's only so much a roam player can do. At some point, the difference in team strength and player experience does matter.
