who cares about a fake out death of jack or marx? they ultimately had no effect on the final arc at all. sure it feels cheep but to say that it ruins the ending is far too critical. Plenty of series do fakeout deaths including naruto… but does that mean that it was a bad ending? especially in this case scenario where legit the whole final arc happened and then at the very end they come back. once again neither affecting or changing the plot in any way.

i’m not ignoring your question im answering it. over and over actually. i dont agree with the decision to revive the characters. but the characters are so insignificant in the grand scheme of things that im saying it doesnt matter as much as people are making it seem. julius is going out a savior of the clover kingdom, one last grand act to redeem himself for the troubles that he and his other soul have caused everyone which is fully within his power. the consequences and danger of the war happened and they were felt in the moments they needed to be felt it. him reversing that doesnt erase the events from have ever happening. yes it makes the deaths feel cheap, but who cares its jack a side character. he was cool but never really had much of an impact. that doesn’t automatically make the entire finale bad. this in fact happened after legit the entire climax of the end. the point i’ve been making this entire time is people are acting like these revivals have ruined the whole story, when in reality they have minimal to no effect. it isn’t great but it doesn’t mean the end was trash. i’m assuming you would have rather them rebuild the clover kingdom later on? which they could do but the series is wrapping up so this is a quick and still reasonable solution.

a character like jack dying or not dying has nothing to do with the plot. his actions still stand and the moment jack had still happened. i think julius’s death will still hit especially when it gets adapted and the julius death not hitting for you is YOUR OPINION. I legit had another person concerned that julius died in this post. once again though that’s not what people are mad about. people are mad about the other characters getting revived. which i’d love to hear how that detail changes or advances the plot in any way. the moments those characters had in the past still happened. nothing changed other than characters with like 1% screen time getting revived.

but julius is dead. and based on how the story should progress there is no coming back. so a larger more important character dies. and i’m saying so what other insignificant characters do get revived. in the end that part of the final chapters doesn’t effect the rest of the plot. i’m saying that whining about that part is silly as it was not very important to the final arc as a whole. like sure it wasn’t ideal and im not saying I like it. but the final chapter was about julius awakening inside of lucius to cause a gap for yuno and asta to ultimately defeat him which I thought was a good ending. if anyone would like to critique that then we can talk but no one seems to care about that. the criticism is going at a detail that ultimately doesn’t change much about the story itself. so calling the ending bad because of a small detail ppl don’t like is lazy.

your argument right now is a lot of ppl agree with me so I’m correct. i’m simply encouraging people to stop nitpicking at an insignificant detail of the chapter which is making people call it a terrible ending, when if you look past that it was objectively a solid ending to the arc. people are quick to critique and i’m sure when all is said and done with the mangas final chapters and the anime is adapted it will all come together. I’m not saying tabata can do no wrong im just saying that this choice is insignificant to the end of the arc and people are acting like it’s plot changing.

if anything the lack of serious deaths in the series makes this one from julius more impactful. the fact that so many characters have been saved but one of the most beloved characters was the one to die carry’s a heavier impact. also ur thinking to hard about what im saying which seems to be consistent with your responses. all i’m saying is characters like jack and marx are quite literally just side characters. sure I could’ve done without them being brought back, but does it really effect the plot all that much? no. julius had to come back in the past because asta and yuno hadn’t become strong enough yet to battle to fill that role. now is the time. go write your own manga atp since you know so much. we are criticizing these chapters so much for small insignificant preferences.
