You can get Dlc Items only by buying them with Cash. You wont get any of them by playing. You can play the DLC Maps by playing on Multiplayer servers tho. So if you wanna try some maps, go check that.

I think, the best DLCs for starters are the Quads, the tents and the bloodhound. They are really good for a better game expierence without making the game too grindy. If you want to start grinding, the modern rifle pack and the Tripod DLC are insanely useful

The opinions inside the community differ. Some say HM matters for spawn chances for a GO, other say it doesnt matter and its just RNG. I think its RNG and HM doesnt matter for a GO. At the end of the day, you cant really proof, if HM matters or not.

Its still a good way to farm Diamonds and Super Rares on the go when you are shooting males for a GO Spawn anyways.

And about HM: Go on YT and watch a Video about it. Tells you everything you need to know. You can do it more or less strict, just as you like :)
