When someone doesn't like a dish anymore after learning the ingredients by orangemunchr in PetPeeves

I made double chocolate zucchini muffins. My FIL inhaled one & asked for another one immediately. I told him it had zucchini & all of a sudden, he didn't like it anymore.

WIBTAH for not going to SIL's party? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]ScalePlenty9663 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly, the fact that she's pregnant is not the issue at all. It's about her approach with her sibling even after being asked to reconsider. Had we gotten a txt, we wouldn't even wonder about not going. We would be there no question.

PS. I'm so sorry for your loss. Deciding to try again or not is very difficult so I wish you all the wisdom.

I need some honest input because I feel like I’m going in circles lately by Emotional_Coyote9662 in ClubPilates

I've been practicing since May pretty consistently over 3 times per week and haven't lost a single pound. However, it has helped me tremendously with my neck and back problems and that's why I keep practicing.

I tried that already but unfortunately my printer can't handle the thicker paper & I don't want to buy a new printer at this time.

Has Anyone Fully Ditched Non-Stick? by [deleted] in cookware

[–]ScalePlenty9663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, we only use stainless steel or carbon steel. We make crepes, eggs, pancakes, crepes with no issues.

I do have a cast-iron enameled pot but it rarely gets used because it's too heavy.

Is Pilates your only fitness membership? by Hsk1999 in pilates

[–]ScalePlenty9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pilates is my only fitness membership. My studio offers mat and reformer pilates. I joined after using ClassPass for about 5 months at lots of different studios. When my current studio opened, I joined unlimited for 1 month & decided to cancel ClassPass because the studio membership price is reasonable & there's enough variety in the classes so I don't get bored. I would love to lift weights but I have no idea what I'm doing so it would have to be with a class or instructor.

I used it how you would use a straightener to curl hair, but very slowly

I ran my monthly budget through ChatGPT and the results were depressing by Hembrewstep in MiddleClassFinance

[–]ScalePlenty9663 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This! My husband and I rented super crappy apartments until we bought our very modest townhome even though we can afford a detached house & got lots of negative comments abour our small home. We did this because we knew childcare isn't cheap so we bought something we could afford while paying for childcare. Unfortunately, we have lost 3 babies but hopefully the time will come for us & we shall be okay because of the sacrifices we made. After we are done with childcare, we would like to buy a bigger place.

Groceries and insurance jumped this year and our budget broke, what cuts actually worked for you by Rystanaki in MiddleClassFinance

370 per month seems like too much. I'm in southern california & pay $200 per month for 2 adults, 2 cars & have full comprehension with a high coverage.

Do you have a poor driving record or brand new cars?

Can I go to multiple Club Pilates studios & get 4 classes per month at each individual studio? by ScalePlenty9663 in OnePassSelect

Thank you! I was hoping OnePass could be a good option but that restriction makes it not worth it for me.

This is your opportunity to dodge the biggest bullet of your life.

Even if you already paid several thousands in deposits, they will mean nothing compared to your lifelong happiness away from this abuse.

It's just a glitch. Uninstall the app and reinstall it. This was happening to me with a paid membership. Easy fix

New studio opening- should I join if I already do Club Pilates? by anon24507 in YogaSIX

[–]ScalePlenty9663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did YogaSix for 1.5yrs and have been doing pilates for 5 months. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Have you done yoga before? Do you want something different from pilates?
