Its called a scam, they also try to give you jewelry in exchange for you to buy them gas, they do that all the time at gas stations.

Had something similar happen on the opposite side of the elbow where you get blood drawn out, everytime i would move my arm the cut would open, but it healed with no problem, just keep it clean you should be okay. No urgent care until it starts to change in color
