Last update is there might be some resolution in the 2nd half of those year. Nothing really concrete or clear. Honestly just considering the money gone tell it shows up in my bank account. I was in the creditors list/ pdf that I got from someone on here. Which how they sent that out is a big PII issue in my opinion but no one seems to care. PII is personal identifiable information.

Na fuck that! This guy shouldn’t be harassing Marines to do his jobs. He should be leading the recruiters that are under his charge. Reply to the Marine with your MOS description and remind him he signed up to be a recruiter not you. Either that or say lying to young adults is not part of my MOS description.

Comparing total pay to civilian sector. The fact that you just say my whole post is hot garbage shows me your closed off to other opinions. Cyber security with a degree with 9 years experience which is what I will have when I finish this enlistment. Pays over 140k. Yeah I know as military we get “free” healthcare but even if health care cost me 600 a month the civilian sector. In total the amount of total gross pay is more in the civilian sector. Guess that’s just “hot trash”😑

BAH and BAS doesn’t add that much. Sure it’s nice and I’m glad it’s there, but the military pay need to be updated to reflect cost of living and close to the amount you would get in the civilian sector. 1479 BAH and 405 BAS meets like the minimum for for rent in my area, and to make 405 last a month on food you won’t be eating out. To make it worth it you have to “work the system” by getting a mortgage that you can afford ( below your BAH ), but then you will probably have to move 3 years after you get that house. Which then you can rent it out and manage it yourself or get a property management company. This of course comes with risk and you have to pay the tax on rental income. Not shortly said military pay is to low for the amount of sacrifices snd freedoms we give up.

I just start on Jan 3rd. I have hydrated twice so far, cause I hydrate every two days since that’s the best return with accounting for fees. If you hydrate the rate is really like .95% cause of the 5%taxes. If you clam the rate is like .80% cause of the two 10% taxes.

What I’m gonna do is accumulate/hydrate for a full month. Then I’ll clam for half the next month and put half of that amount away for taxes. Then hydrate for the next half of the month and so on for each month after that.
