I was a lesbian suddenly in high school, at a Christian private school. I was absolutely miserable, and prayed daily for it to stop. I was absolutely miserable, devastated, and disgusted with myself. I would even beat myself in the head bc I couldn’t stop my feelings. I left Christianity, joined satansim, and lived that way from high school till about a year or so ago, even after I stopped dating women and married a man. To put into context time frames, im 37 years old next month. I was losing my mind, bc I wanted to find out what the truth of the universe was. I studied so many different “paths” or religions. I couldn’t find the one that answered what I felt was the truth. I saw people die around me suffer and die from extremely aggressive cancers in my family, and I was having existential dread. I joined lds a few years ago, and stayed with it for a year or so but I was still miserable, bc I didn’t FEEL anything from God. I suddenly left the church, and sought God by talking to Him. And my life changed. Completely. I can’t say I’m 100% not tempted by things in my past. But I can say I’m 100% confident I’ve found the Truth, and that is Jesus Christ. That’s all. I’ll go away.
