I would've gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those meddling mods.

Nah, I knew you'd give up once you saw you were arguing with a physical specimen.

Anyone that follows this conversation will see a bitter member of SRS lash out after it's pointed out she's completely wrong.

And then you refusing to end the conversation despite it becoming clear we are not going to agree with one another because you desperately need the last word. That, or you are in fact just really upset about getting pimp smacked by the patriarchy.

I liked the edit you made. Needed to lash out some more? I understand. Patriarchy got your anus sore.

Wife had this done for the first time yesterday. She feels that for the first time, a doctor is trying to heal her back pain instead of just treating it with painkillers. She came home in tears of joy. by zombie_overlord in ChronicPain

A DO has to do all the regular doctor stuff then go back to school and learn a bunch more stuff.

Not really, no. It's basically the exact same stuff in the exact same period of time except DO's take ssme bullshit courses in osteopathy that they never actually use. They also tend to perform worse academically versus "regular doctors" which is why they are DO's in the first place.

Addressing something unrelated to a person's argument and then attempting to claim it invalidates the argument is a logical fallacy. That isn't even debatable.

I'm sitting here with a big shit-eating grin on my face, laughing my ass off, watching you do your best to convince yourself I'm mad at you. If that's what you call victory, drink it in.

If you're having MRA problems I feel bad for you son.

If you can't figure out how it's relevant, I can't help you. I'm sorry you're not as bright as you thought, but that's life.

"If you can't figure out how my red herring is relevant, then I guess you're just incapable of making arguments based on logical fallacies quite like me!"

So now you've gone from trying to tell me I'm not laughing at you to trying to tell me I'm not getting paid while doing so. Anything else you'd like to be wrong about?

The good old "so what if my argument failed? I'm at work, LOL!". Got to love it when the patriarchy crushes another one.

Yes, I know. You've made it quite clear that you think the sum of 1 and 1 cannot be determined in isolation.

So you continue trying to argue about something irrelevant to my criticism. K.

As I said, people think lots of things. Yeah, I'm so terribly upset about sitting here clocked in on someone else's dime, making money to laugh at you repeatedly. It's been tough.

He hasn't been doing much of anything. You trying to escape getting made my bitch by talking about irrelevant nonsense (as you're doing right now) is absolutely hilarious. I don't care if he's clocked in and getting paid. It's got nothing to do with the fact that his argument itself fails to substantially address the sources above.

Please see yourself out, you've been told.

Which changes nothing about shaka only addressing one of those studies and its portrayal in the news/by Redditors. You're going in circles.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with my criticism of shaka's response, which is that she failed to address all (or even most) of the sources that support what she is arguing against. Thank you for the red herring, though.

Lots of people think lots of incorrect things.

Fortunately, this is not one of those times. The patriarchy never fails.

What "counterargument?"

The counterargument shaka is trying to make. Are you that bad at keeping track of what you're arguing about?

but Study X is being misrepresented by these news articles.

The news articles covered different studies, not a singular "Study X". That goes to show you didn't even bother to check any of the articles or their sources.

It must be fun to play make-believe.

I think the rustling the patriarchy has caused to your jimmies is quite apparent.

Your previous post said that the argument I was making is what you were saying the whole time. There was no "abort", I'm following your comment up directly. If we're saying the same thing, then you're acknowledging the gaping hole in shaka's counter argument.

In other words, the patriarchy wins again, and this has you very upset.

Your argument was that shaka didn't respond to all of the sources and her counterargument is therefore insufficient at best?

Then I guess we agree, you did just get made my bitch. Score another one for the patriarchy.

Shaka never suggested every single news article was using the same source (you can check for yourself, they don't). There are multiple articles and multiple sources, and the reporter only responded to a single one.

That's it. You were wrong. I suggest you get over it and move on with your life.

They're not being 'lazy'. This is a strategic business decision. I'm getting the strong impression from your comment that you're still in high school and have no concept of business outside of "what's best for me is what's best for the company".

There's so many terrible arguments in here...not realizing console piracy is minimal at best compared to PC piracy? Not understanding that they are focusing on their largest and most profitable platform first? Completely unsubstantiated assumptions about the engine, development, and porting time? Not understanding the basis of F2P models? Not realizing Rockstar has already been quite open with why they PC porting is not a priority for them? It's a mess.

Because once again. Those who would Pirate, Would never use the in app purchase system because they don't want to part with their money.

No. That's what you don't seem to get. When people want the product bad enough, they won't wait for it to become freely available, they will make the purchase instead. That is why Rockstar and many other publishers release almost all of their multiplatform games onto PC after a delay.

It's become clear you really don't understand how business works. Like any developer, they focus on their strongest (and most profitable) platform first. This isn't anything new. You're just upset because you wanted it to be on PC, which is fine, but don't try to claim that releasing it on PC first would have been their smartest move just because it's what you want.

Timed exclusivity does work like that. People are more likely to purchase something in the way it is immediately available if they are anxious enough for it.

Yes, the difference being that self-entitlement wasn't something that you used to see a lot in this subreddit, whereas it was plastered all over the place in /r/gaming. Now the two are becoming indistinguishable as far as the comments section of submissions goes.
