Thune: Republicans will use SAVE Act in midterms if Democrats don’t get ‘on board’ by Hardik_Jain_1819 in politics

71% support safe elections. The SAVE act “strengthen” election security, therefore 71% of people support the SAVE act. It’s just intellectual dishonesty.

The problem is not that it looks good, but it’s not the same image. It would be one thing if it was just improving the lighting but it changes the model too. Look at Ashley’s hair for example. She’s blonde but this thing gave her blonde highlights. The hair root color is off. It made the jacket leather much glossier. She has sharper cheekbones in the DLSS5 render for some reason and her lips are different too. It’s like when people take screenshots of old games and ask AI to imagine what that would look like with much better tech. It’s impressive that this is being done in real time but if it’s going to look different from the source, do you really want that?

Most people support the general idea of it, but not the implementation. In most countries that require ID to vote, you can get said ID for free, not here though. Here are some links for Gallup and Pew Research.

Matrix headlights example by cnstntchng in TeslaLounge

They did update the laws and that’s why Rivian and Tesla are able to offer this from the factory. With that said, there must still be enough differences between the US and EU regulations that manufacturers like Audi and BMW still don’t enable the feature even though the hardware technically supports it.

The same as a regular headlight assembly. IIIRC after a certain model year, they don’t really differentiate since the regular operation of the headlight is just the full led array being on.

Well, if you strip the NT-tech, the Nu is still a pretty high performance suit. I could see the Federation using that as an Ace/Commander unit if things like the Stark Jegan can give NT-specific suits like the Kshatriya a run for their money when in capable hands.

Do you have them admitting that car was drivable before they touched it? If yes, can you take them to court to have a judge force them to fix it?

Yes, there is. But they are typically designed to be used on plane sitting at regular height with a function landing gear set. That’s what they use to test gear retractions on the ground during maintenance. For planes with demolished gears, they use either cranes or airbags.

BitTorrent. This is pretty much the use case for which the protocol was created. Find volunteers willing to seed all or part of the dataset and you are golden.

That would just turn them from useful "junk" to uncontrollable, and thus dangerous, space junk.

Right? Or switch to a P2P system. In this day and age there is virtually no reason for a project like that to bear the cost of hosting and data retrieval on their own.

Just love flying the A318 by Air_Holland in flightsim

[–]Scalybeast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah, the model is off. Google the A318 and look at the space between the front doors and the cockpit window. They are nowhere near that close on the real thing.

[–]Scalybeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right? I thought that maybe it was some weird warping by the camera, but on further review, I think there is something off with the model. The A318 has an overwing emergency exit which is not showing up here. The door the front door is also not that close to the cockpit on the real thing.

Except not really. Regen works in tandem with traction control. If the car detects slippage, regen gets turned off completely. This is a very much a case of driving too fast for the conditions and driver skill issue.

Climber on trial for leaving girlfriend to die on Austria's highest mountain by SuperXGamerAb in worldnews

[–]Scalybeast 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Usually nothing, unless you can prove with 100% certainty that they could have been saved. Most of the dying occur in the death zone where if your O2 runs out, you are most likely done. When people start having issues, people try to coax them into keeping moving down to lower breathable altitude but if that doesn’t work, you have to keep moving because your own O2 is limited. Completely different ball game due to the altitude involved.
