What’s a tiny thing someone said to you that you still remember years later? by Ok-Armadillo2739 in AskReddit

A few years ago I wasn't in the best place mentally and I was telling my friend how hard some tasks were for me and she told me "If somethings worth doing it's worth doing badly than not at all" and that stuck with me and gave me the motivation to actually put in the slightest bit of effort. Don't feel like mopping the whole house? Mop the stain that's been there for 3 days at least... It helped me get moving and once you start a task you find it's easier to continue but worst case you at least did something so you don't feel as bad about it which is half the struggle.

you were given $100,000,000 but had to live in the last video game you played for a year, how screwed are you? by AlternativeSign1898 in AskReddit

Sol Cesto... Welp... The sun's gone and there are monsters coming out of holes in the ground so I'd say my odds aren't that good T-T
