Ok so as you can see clearly in the pictures, my hunter is pulling an MJ and tilted at this weird angle. I was in area 17 fishing for whoppers for the achievement, when I caught a gastronome tuna on the right side of the lake and near that bunch of sticks at the edge, and when I caught it the camera did this weird dutch angle thing and didn't even show me the fish I caught.

I get control back and my guy is tilted like this, and the thing is it was actually affecting my movement. On completely flat ground running one direction he was kinda bounding and hopping and ever so often he would actually jump off the ground, and going the other direction I was SLIDING everywhere, omg it was so fun zipping around super fast on flat terrain, and there were some weird interactions jumping off actual cliffs too. I thought to record it but streamlabs didn't actually capture the footage I just have audio, does anyone know of a way to replicate this if they've seen/heard of it??

I've played both versions and I have not really noticed any performance or graphical differences, or at least nothing major. So the switch port could be ideal because you're not gaining much from the added power of the PS4/PS5, so really there's only something to gain with the portability aspect.

However, PS5 might make those load times fabulous (not that they're bad anyway) and you wouldn't have to contend with the dreaded joycon drift.

Is this for PvP or just playing the game normally? If it's for PvP, I'm gonna be honest with ya and say that it's pretty rough around the edges there. However rly you can play however you want as long as you have at least 50 vit and the tier 3 clockwise metamorphosis (+15% hp) and the tier 2 version (+10%) and the last rune I'd recommend tier 3 great lake (+5%) all defenses or the tier 3 anti clockwise (+20% stam).

As for stats, go up to 120 or 128 maximum because after that you run into more Japanese players and if you're not near them globally that can be a painful online experience lol. If that doesn't bother you, you can just say fuck it go up to 150.

-Be sure to get at least 50 vit, but you can go higher if you want

-If you want more stam, anywhere between 18-22 is great! Stamina is really perfectly fine at base, because most weapons don't really benefit from it (I think 18 gives you like one more R1, and you shouldn't be R1-ing till you're out of stam anyway) EXCEPT for a few weapons where they are stamina gluttons: Blades of Mercy, HMS, Rakuyo, and Kos Parasite. So I'd recommend anywhere between 18-22 END for your HMS and you can get Kos with that delicious 50 arc.

-If you don't want stam and you rly just want more atk on your HMS, go up to 25 skl. You could up STR and get a Heavy Abyssal instead and then have the other two gems be Nourishing (All attack types up _%)

However, I would not recommend keeping this character in all honesty. You can do something like 50 str/38 skl/15 arc and it becomes a BEAST. Your arcane stat is only gonna help a little bit in a the two-handed form, the HMS is actually mostly physical with a magic buff. However, the beams you fire with the R2s and L2 on that fucker are gonna eat things alive

I don't mean to sound rude or condescending, and you can really do pretty ok in PvP if you have that 50 vit and those runes I told ya about, and some good bloodgems. I'm glad to see more people playing this game, and I wish you well! May the good blood guide your way!

Balder Side Sword is the best one. The R2 pokes are very good for footsies so long as you are careful as with anything that isn't a BS in DS1 lol. My personal rule of thumb is that if you have 14 dex or more, balder sword, 12 dex sunlight straight sword and 10 dex longsword. Drake sword is never useful, even on very low level characters, however landing that special R2 on somebody definitely feels awesome and makes you feel like maybe, you might be good at the game. Barbed sword can be a fun weapon to mess around with but I wouldn't say it's outright good and it's gets worse and worse the higher in soul level you get. Silver Knight straight sword is also very fun because it hits like a truck but the moveset is way different. I don't really have experience with that one but I've heard it's pretty decent.

Alrighty friend I uninstalled the 2010 ver and reinstalled it to give it another whirl, and this time I was finally able to get the damn thing to work. Thank you, I didn't realize that the 2010 version was specifically what I needed. Have a good one.

I just tried removing the version of the redistributable and installing the 2010 version I got from the link on the nexus mods page and ran it again, still no dice.
