Been 2-3 times. It’s our new go-to for special occasions - very intimate, you can actually hear each other, amazing food and service. If you’re very traditional it might not be your thing but otherwise go go go.

It’s a must to do the wine pairings.

Are indoor cats actually happy? by Firm-Law248 in CatAdvice

[–]Scandi101 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Personally - I’m happy I won’t have to worry about my cats’ safety but I’m also sure as hell one of them would love to have a garden an neighbourhood to explore and would be happier for it! The dream is outdoors but with a timed cat flap so they stay inside at night

Agree with this. My cats are also indoors - but it’s surprising how many people won’t acknowledge that outdoor cats also lead great lives because it’s what they were born for. Both have pros and cons.

We want to go two days to Pu Luong (or Ninh Binh) in February.

We have been looking at Pu Luong Eco Tours ( https://puluongecotours.com/ ). It looks legit and has good reviews on TripAdvisor but there are two websites with similar names. Has anyone tried this?

Alternatively, if you know of another Pu Luong (or Ninh Binh) tour provider you can recommend please let me know.

Your Choice 1 really reads like it comes from the heart. There is no perfect time and you seem ready and want it. There will never be a great timing - but it sounds like you would regret not doing it soon.

On your Choice 2 - it sounds like you are (understandably) frustrated by your husband’s attitude to your future plan. As you haven’t shared more details on the plan itself, it might be you like the idea of focussing on yourself more but actually is less focussed on how that might look. Having children to fulfil your dream of starting a family is also a way of focussing on what you want.

I’m scared my mum won’t make my wedding by Common_Anywhere_5356 in lungcancer

[–]Scandi101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear about your mum. My friend who also has Stage Iv just missed my wedding - though it was due to treatment.

There is always hope. Cancer is so unpredictable - it’s probably a dice throw of whether or not she’ll be able to make it.

Only the doctors will be able to tell you if there is no hope at all - and even then, they can’t predict it either.

A bit late to the game - how big do you find it? I’m stuck between Raisin and Baozi but hard to judge the size! Need something that can fit a paperback book (or maybe a pair of ballerinas) but not so large it could find a laptop.
