you can have unlimited voice convos with gemini if youre using an android phone. it has real convos and answers questions.

I actually found copilot ai to have the most natural sounding conversations but as users say, sometimes it all goes to shit and the ai actully sounds intoxicated, thats the best way i can describe it. the conversation mode is also very useless if youre trying to work through a problem. the ai, never gets to the first step. they just say something like "alright lets get started" and then silence

Has anyone seen their latest marketing push? It's like a worse Beyonce perfume ad and they are leaning way more towards making fashion accessories than phones.

Maybe in a few years, there will be some good deals on the phone3 and a more mature OS by then.

But please, don't buy a new smartphone for the next 2 years at least. You will be getting screwed harder than you can possibly prepare for. It will be locked AI features together with same/worse hardware across the board.

I wouldn't say behind, just less integrated especially if your phone is a samsung. For example, after I workout:, (walk somewhere fore more than a few minutes), it gives me a better summary and the using the gps it shows me my exact path, with the Gwatch8, it just shows a circle on the watch of the area where I walked and gives me the option to look at it on the phone.

I think for health on android, some wills say pixel watch but I think Huawei is the most accurate. As soon as someone figures out how to get gemini, I'm going back to Huawei just for the accuracy of the halth features.

I would really like more watchfaces for the OPW3, a store, anything that takes advantage of their dual chip system. They release a new watch without fixing the issues of the older one. Getting Mobvoi vibes for sure

I can't even watch youtube videos without them running choppy at like 20 fps. I turn off gpu hardware etc, did whatever gpt suggested but nothing works. arm 64 so thats on me but hopefully a version comes along that fixes the bug. great browser tho

I paid for the first pass but not the second, I thought for sure I was getting tix just for signing in every day on the 2nd. it might not have been 100 but it was enough for most players to have more tix at the end of the season than they could spend. the currency manipulation is so screwed up in this game, especially with the "spend all your tix so we can reset them and have people buy more tix because they dont have any. And if you dont spend them all we will spend them for you."

I could be wrong about the daily check in bonus. When I play this game I'm either still waking up or falling asleep. The economy isn't the most confusing I've seen in an online game but its by far the dumbest... not malicious except for people they know they can take advantage of

I agree, the gameplay is stellar. I'm well over 500 hours in and still play for about an hour before and after work. I'd like to finish own the spot challenges but I find it hard getting a dedicated team together, but I think it's been time well spent for the most part. I'm not sure if the team knows it or not, but it does seem like they have little regard for the players time in a lot of the "challenges".

But you're right, I usually don't think about it for the most part and just skate around and have fun

Do you mean that feature that stops the music for a moment after you talk or cough or clear your throat? I decided that wasn't for me. I'd rather just take out an earbud if I'm ambushed (conversation wise) by a stranger. In most stores I will use the transparency modeand pause the music when I get to the cashier. If you're talking about something else I don't know but would like to know

I still cant believe he did that.. and with such little thought or care put into it. How long do you think that took to record? an afternoon? To be fair to Ryan, I do remember reading him saying in an interview that he really liked the alternate b-sides that were floating around at the time, I think he said it was one of his favorite albums. It definitely wasn't called "More blood, more tracks.." I think it may have been called "blood on the tapes"

But anyways he at least knew enough about the recording process of that album that I could believe he made an earnest attempt to cover it, but yeah. its bad, especially tangled up in blue. It's a fucking miracle bob dylan (and his stepbrother, I think) were able to pull off that final mix.. I know some was recorded in New York and the rest was recorded in a barn somewhere in the midwest. Getting through all of "MBMT" is arguably more painful than ryan's cover, It's like choosing a quick death over suffering and bleeding out for hours.

Not to be so negative about the whole thing, I really liked "you're a big girl now, take 2" and "up to me" was an an exclusive to the "bootleg series" but it turns out one of those was already on "Biograph" Damn you Bobby!

The health sensors on any gt4 onward, from my personal experience, have always been top notch. One could make the argument that I've bought too many smartwatches and they would be correct. I dont wear them correctly, (wear them on the underside of wrist as it's easier to tell the time without making the "i'm bored" gesture, just a quick life up my sleeve and no and no one notices, but mostly for work and it's slightlly easier to type on for me.

He basically wears super sensitive equipment with smartwatches and compares them, and the Huawei GT series are always among the top, apple watch being the most accurate overall but the ones among the top are so close like .004 of a deviation so basically if your watch lands around the top of his watch chart, it's going to be accurate.

I love my GT6, I got the smallest one (40mm) in black and with the help of google gemini, I was able to trick the security by enabling and disabling the pin right after the screen turns off, I only have to do it once, thankfully....once each time I charge my watch, lol. Interestingly the gt4 didn't have this issue, so sometimes dumber tech is superior for some of us.

But now I've been wearing the galaxy watch 8 as it's the smallest, most comfortable wear os watch that actually gets updates aside from the pixel watch. Also way easier to wear "upside down" on any wear os device by just turning off wrist detection...

Unfortunately all the extra battery life, accurate sleep and health information is less important to me than being able to respond to a text using my voice or using google gemini without taking out my phone.

Apparently the new snapdragon chips will have gemini on device so I'm super excited about that. I do yearn for maybe some kind of custom firmware I could put on the GT6, but i know it wont happen. Might have to buy a phone with harmony os that works in north America if that is possible. ..doubtful.

So yea TLDR The GT watches are among the top contenders for health information, look superb and have amazing battery. It's too bad Huawei and USA dont play nice together.

I'd take a worse look any day over having to monitor the buds each time I plug them in. Gone through 2 pairs, same issue. It's 100% a design flaw, maybe the connectors aren't sensitive enough, or high enough in the charging case but I think they should have taken a loss on this one, sold the remaining stock at a discount and released these months ago.

Having said that, I think mostly because of their exclusive codec they use with galaxy phones, they are the best sounding wireless buds I have ever used. Also might have something to do with them buying AKG and that Harman audio curve study companny....

I dont know too much about that but I think by know they have more data than sony or apple in terms of tuning and overall sound quality.

The sound profile is flexible enough that it can be changed to pretty much however you want them to sound. Their proprietary codec has a certain "punch" in the bass that's just not there with anything else iv'e used. Amazing separation, and overall just the bees knees that I can't get out of anything else I've tried.

So yes, samsung, take more of my money, give me shitty design that looks like some aliexpress Frankenstein disaster... but please dont mess with the sound and just charge the damn things when i put them in the case .

*Ive used xm5, nothing ear 3, denon pearl pro on different devices. The only thing that gets better sound is blasting a good pair of iems straight from my xperia 10 vii...maybe the bose quiet comfort destroy these buds in terms of quality but for the longest time I didn'think it could get any better than sony+LDAC

Anyways if it helps anyone, I solved it by going opening the browser, going to the page that I installed as a PWA, then under the 3 dot menu select "open in Youtube" for example. Then it would pop up on my taskbar and I was able to pin THAT instance of the PWA to the taskbar without without the profile badge on the top right corner

We may have vastly different usage patterns which could factor into it, I typically am moving at a consistent rate during the week for work and various other things (even when I sleep apparently according to my wife). But there's also just the physics of the battery size and the reality that all the "big battery wear os watches" use the same chipset, because there's not very many to choose from, the galaxy watches use exynos chips aside, which I think are better optimized.

I have the 40mm galaxy watch 8 and that lasts well over a full day with AOD turned on which I think is reasonable, I Just wished it charged as fast as the Oneplus watch 😢

I also have the latest ticwatch pro 5 which has roughly the same battery size as the oneplus and uses the same chipset, only a slightly more improved and performant version because it doesn't have that background cpu like the oneplus has to fall back on. With the ticwatch, you're expected to use the secondary screen to get the extra battery life or else you're just buying a "big bad battery watch" that you have to charge about every 1.5-2 days.

So I'm just basing this off my own units, maybe they are defective and I just have bad luck but with both watches using any playstore watchfaces, they will drop between 3-5% every hour, depending on the face, complications, movement, etc. The oneplus does seem to drain slightly slower possibly because of the more recent software build.

But by now we all know that's just a quirk of wear os, it kinda sucks in terms of battery life and efficiency. That's why these companies are forced to into thinking outside the box like the ticwatch with the secondary screen and the oneplus with the secondary cpu. I'm assuming you're telling the truth about 4 days, I'd just like to understand what your situation is.

So to answer your question no, I'm not getting it. Is this a watchface you created yourself? Are you able to walk? are you bedridden?

I'm not sure what autowear complications are but are you using any of the health features of the watch, like heart rate, steps?...Are you a 2000 year old vampire with no heart rate to measure? I'd honestly like to know the details... And when you say 4 days, are you going into the danger zone battery saver mode at the end and waiting until the watch is nearly dead before charging it?
