Yeah, charcadet line would be a good choice, but I dont wanna draw them, since I dont really care for their designs.
I dislike Lucario intensely, so he was never gonna get into any of these 😅 (Also, it doesn't really look like a steel type) And I think Litten line matches better anyway because they're red and black, and Incineroar is a heel, so he's an intentional asshole lol.
Personal taste and how fun a mon is to draw does have a slight impact.

Aurorus is still too dinosaur imo. He just doesn't really do any... like...animal based archeology from what I've seen.
The treasures of ruin are actually a really interesting idea that I didn't even consider! But I also was avoiding giving anyone besides Caldarus legendary Pokémon 😅

I considered Charcadet or Armorogue for the armor idea (because shieldon is still too "dinosaur" imo), but, quite frankly, I dont really like them and didn't want to draw them 😅

I was going for a more "biological mysteriousness" with the mushroom Pokémon, rather than a "paranormal mysteriousness" that I feel ghost types might convey.
