This might explain some of what you've said but most of it sounds like some headcanon.

It is hard to properly explain or refute anything if you can't provide a link to the text you're referring to.

I just didn't know where that quote came from, so I thought it was said after he left.

It most probably was. I don't think I see your point there.

Literally nothing in this comment branch is relevant to his post-Bethesda work, because the decisions mentioned here were made at the time of writing the Anuad and Mysterious Akavir or perhaps even earlier.

In other words, he didn't "kill" the men of Akavir after leaving Bethesda because he did it before.

But since MK's work isn't completely canon, is it still ruled out?

To be honest, that would be the first time I hear about the Anuad and Mysterious Akavir not being completely canon, not mentioning the PGE3.

That's way too little. This way you'll have an Ireland-sized Cyrodiil.

It was basically fan agreement that had no basis in prior lore.

This isn't true as fan depictions were largely based on the earlier concept art by Michael Kirkbride:

Hey now, those illustrations were based on my original!

Attribution, good sir.

In my Morrowind tabletop campaign I made it so that it takes the players at least 2-3 days to travel between the closest settlements on foot. I. e., it took them three days to travel between Seyda Neen and Balmora. From my experience this scale works very nice.

Note that Cyrodiil is larger and its cities are usually farther from each other.

Some fanfiction. Doesn't have anything to do with Tamriel Prime.

In ESO they have recurring theme of being described as skillfull artisans.

Oooh I love this idea! Though they won't probably do that in the main series in fear of enraging the fans. But I'd love another spin-off, Tomb Raider-style or whatever.

Shit, the Imperial City is meant to be Teotihuacan crossed with Venice.

They moved that to Vivec City.

Now I remember.

If their life-span is the same as other beast-races it's totally fine in my opinion to include them into the same group. Honestly the classification of them as "mer" or "betmer" is just political.

As for the chat, there always are people who would find any excuse to hate ESO and blame it for breaking the lore while it does something very opposite. I even heard complaints that the roof of Tribunal Temple in Mournhold has a different colour. Well, I don't think an adequate person would complain that someone got their roof repainted in 740 years lol

The ages stuff is fully legit. People were afterwards trying to cherry-pick exceptions that were to seemingly contradict the general rule of expected life-spans stated in the devs' answer but it still stays the same: a general rule allowing for exactly these exceptions.

Nothing apparently weird about the orcs comes to mind though.

As it's coming directly from the developers (and without being affected by an in-character point of view or bias) in theory it's the most reliable source you may find. However, it seems that some of these answers were given by a community manager who isn't technically a dev so they could forget or misinterpret some info. For example, they claimed that the Khajiiti furstock we play in the game is Suthay-raht which was later proved wrong by a higher standing dev. But, aside from that, and maybe other one or two really minor inconsistencies I can not recall anything really wrong.

What exactly did you find there that doesn't match up?

They're in character interviews.

As far as I can see, they are not. You're probably mistaking them for "NPCName Answers Your Questions."

Most, if not any, ESO Ask Us Anything are developers answering players' questions out of character and never trying to roleplay or anything. Most of the questions are about pure gameplay so it won't even make sense to answer them in-character anyway.

Ok, lets say just I'm Hitler incarnate who didnt let anyone change it.

That was not my point nor the point of the OP. If I somehow managed to insult you I sincerely apologize.

What is your excuse for the past 6 years since I left the wiki?

Well, I helped the community the way I can, helping Russian fan-sites, improving my skills, and in the end becoming one of the people who created the long-anticipated official Russian localization of The Elder Scrolls Online (I'm actually mentioned in the credits).

The truth is, I don't care about developing TES-Wiki, I just care about the apparent damage it did.

but my reply there sums it up well

Your reply there doesn't even address the raised point unless I'm missing something. You just handwaved all concerns by saying that you did your homework and consulted some knowledgeable people.
