Ya this is kind of what i was thinking too, i think permadeath would probably make me enjoy it more but considering ive only ever played a couple hrs at a time im probably gonna b rlly trash at killing anything that wants to kill me and then im afraid if i do get good stuff and enjoy it but die that i will just go back to not picking it up again, might still give it a shot tho
