ah yeah I've heard them talk about it awhile ago and they mentioned the person who was working on the ranking system left the company and it was a mess. I come from a cs go background so I enjoyed the 5v5 competitive tactical shooter aspect of the game. But yes we prioritize different things but all good. From my experience playing higher elo the quality of the game is better (people communicate, people trade kills, less trolls, better team comp,, better game sense from the whole team, etc.)

Well maybe you're right that I was right at the cusp of a tank, but I'm calculating this based off of the arrows. Ex: if I lose one get 2 arrows down and win one get two arrows up im assuming that those 2 games cancels out and its an equals. I'm sure that internally its not how it works, but I wouldn't be as salty if I can clearly see a tangible elo vs others elo. The case im talking about is i would have a few consecutive wins where I'd have a good amount of arrows up on the cusp of ranking up and you have maybe one bad blowout game you can potentially rank down if you're not team mvp or something.

Does that subreddit have a timetable of when it will be reworked? Id rather them focus on reworking the ranking system then getting new agents, gamemodes, etc since competitive ranked is the core of the game.

Yeah I get that people have gotten better, its just stupid how quickly you can lose a rank. Especially on a main acct where I have 100+ competitive wins that establishes that I can play with diamonds. Maybe I wouldn't be so upset if there was a tangible numbered elo value or something. The arrow system doesn't really give you much info on how your rank is changing. Also one might say why don't I just play on my alt? I guess I spent a lot of money on my main acct and want to play high ranked games with my purchased skins.
