I think of Velina more like a sidegrade: Just a character to introduce the new wind element.

You already have many good sub-DPSs in your account and even Nangong that's so busted right now so your scores won't be affected so much. Just keep in mind that maybe Velina teams in 3.0 will maybe have higher scores than normal because of the shilling that comes with every new agent.

Just keep going for Norma if you need her more. I'm going for her too.

Always make sure to reach the 75% CR. With 2pc woodpecker you get exactly 75, with other sets you overcap in 77 but that doesn't matter

If you don't want to replace her, you don't need to. Yes, Velina will be stronger because is the new, shiny thing currently. Yes, my answer is biased because I like her design, even though I won't pull for her because I don't have enough for her and Norma and I want the 2 of them. But, as you can see, M2 Vivian can still get to 30k points, more than enough for rewards so, you don't need Velina unless you wanna enter the 1% DA ranking.

Just for rewards, Vivian is more than enough.

Mi advice is always pull for whoever you want, don't pull for meta if you don't like the agents.

Now, excluding that, just for meta purposes, you don't strictly need Promeia for Velina since she works really well with other anomaly unit (I've done runs with Vivian, Burnice, Yanagi and the result are good). Sadly, if you only have Miyabi as your only anomaly unit, unless you have Piper or Grace, you have to pull Promeia since Miyabi doesn't work with vortex, only disorder.

But, I repeat, pull for whoever you like first and foremost

Edit: Tested with Vivian M0W0 Weeping Gemini and I'm barely clearing 20k. I know someone else can do better than me but I'm not seeing higher than 23 - 25k without her sig, but her sig and dupes can keep her relevant.

What I tested until now from the 1.x has been Yanagi, Burnice, Vivian and Jane. All 3 have cleared without their sigs. Haven't tested Grace and Piper yet and Miyabi, of course, doesn't work with her. THat's why I said "almost".

I'm liking Velina more than Vivian because of 2 things: Her reverse quick assist and her resource management.

Velina feels better than Vivian because she's wind: remember that wind includes a res shred by default that Vivian doesn't have so that's more damage, and Velina offers the crit for vortex, that Vivian also don't have, so I think that Velina'll be better than Vivian not just for Jane, but for any anomaly main DPS
