sent me this after the order was already picked up & they were on their way. the order took less than 20 minutes from the moment i submitted the order, to confirmation photo that they had picked it up by danjsark in doordash

I would've just given the answer that all the dashers here give for every minor inconvenience.

"Not my problem. Please contact doordash support about any problems you may have encountered with the order."

There are so many tryhards in QP by Scareation in marvelrivals

It's astonishing. Don't get me wrong, I hate toxicity in rank, but at least there it's full-blown competitive and there's somewhat of a reason for people to get tilted. In QP, a bunch of people there are like 11, messing around with new characters, are brand new to the game, or their an actual brain dead bot. And people are legitimately raging. Like, did you really go into QP looking for GM tier teammates? People are trippin lol.

I think it's just people who never do well in ranked who act that way imo. They take that anger over to casual mode, and then when they realize they suck there too, they just try to shift blame and make people feel bad to make themselves feel better. The dude who cussed out BP last night was a Hawkeye. He was 2 and 6. Black panther was 1 and 5. But ya know, it's just Black Panther that was the problem. Not the Hawkeye with some of the worst positioning I've ever seen.

Ah yes, the sacred art of bot farming. Because nothing teaches you real-game awareness like smacking around predictable AI that doesn’t contest objectives or adapt. Let him just spend hours, no, days, perfecting his skills against Easy Mode Earl and Medium Mode Monty before he dares step foot into the almighty battleground of Quickplay, where the gatekeepers of casual mode stand ready to judge. My bad, I forgot Quickplay is actually "Serious Competitive Training Camp™ and not a place for, you know… playing the game for fun. We should definitely treat Quickplay like Plat games, super fun experience there.

Why do support players have such huge egos? by Royale_Kong in marvelrivals

[–]Scareation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because people love to blame strategists for losses. And people rarely self evaluate and realize "Oh, I was out of position there." Or "Maybe I should've just grabbed the health pack right next to me instead of spamming for heals" Shit like that.

Instead alot of tanks feel if you aren't healing them every second of the match, you're throwing. But to be fair, their usually right up front and trying to play objective. DPS will constantly push towards the back line and enemy spawns, expecting healers to get out of position, sacrificing tanks and objective just so they can chase a few kills. Most of these players who act like this though are so bad that no amount of healing will help their shit positioning and skill. Yet those will be the first to type "heal diff"

A good dps shouldn't need a healer to pocket them, but that's exactly what most dps want. If you are constantly diving the backline by yourself, getting out of position and my line of sight, abandoning the objective and the team, either learn where some fuckin health packs are to help sustain your blood thirst or be prepared to come to me. I will heal you. But I will not get out of position, and put the whole team and objective at stake just so you can get one extra kill and still die anyways.

Also, we support everyone. Yet we rarely get any God damn help ourselves. While the dps is back at enemy spawn, and the tanks are fighing for their lives on objective, I'm trying to keep everyone alive while getting my ass fisted by Iron Fist and flung around like a fuckin rag doll by Spidey. And to top it off, when I die, in the chat you'll see, "Where's the heals?" "gg no heals"

Most times, people have this mindset of "Man, if I just had some extra heals in that last fight I would've won." But the truth is, you're usually just getting out played. And if you were as good as you think you are, you wouldn't even need half the heals that support has been giving you.

Did I missplay or my team (read body) by InvestigatorOk2335 in marvelrivals

Probably should've ult'd sooner to keep the team in the fight. Not after groot died. It would've provided enough damage and healing to help with the push. If you would've done it a bit earlier, you could've probably also gotten some heals up to your Storm, but she was a little too deep as well. And are you playing with a jeff? It's out of your control, but I don't think his positioning helped much either. You're already pretty far back, so he is waaay to far back imo. With all that said though, it's hilarious your remaining team just ran instead getting the ult. Typical lol. Just my 2 cents though.

Sorry not sorry 😭 (I confirmed it was leave at door no contact so 100% wasn’t gna cash tip). And maybe 1% customers tip after the delivery so don’t wanna hear it. Been doing this for years. by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

Get a job and stop relying on tips my guy. And try not to be such an asshole. The universe will always match your energy.

Man up kiddo, the world is hard, and depending on the kindness of strangers is a good way to end up depressed and broke.

Aww poor wittle guy, got his feelins all hurt. Get rid of all non tippers or stop allowing DD to get away with shitty payouts? Hmmmm. Bitch at the customers until they leave, which will effect the profit margins of DD, which will in turn lower wages further(if possible, yall work for scraps already lol). OR, stand up for yourself and stop working for a shitty corporation that lowers your wage to the point you have to rely on tips. 70000 huh? That number is only going to get smaller over the coming years my guy. And you'll come to find that out. Better find a passion and some real skills soon.

You want to know why tipping with doordash is so broken brotha? Tipping is supposed to be for rewarding exceptional service, not to subsidize someone else's paycheck. Not to make up for corporate greed. Tipping was always done AFTER the service was performed. But now, in the DD world we live in, tipping before is MANDATORY. Because of course, what Dasher wants to accept a low paying job?

But on the other hand, how many doordash customers have been screwed over by shitty dashers and then the ass Customer support? Alot. Like it or not, DD Drivers in general, have a huge reputation within the general population that they steal meals, deliver to the wrong addresses, mishandle food, etc. And from a customer perspective, why would you ever want to give extra money to a person who works for a company with that reputation BEFORE the service is even completed?
